I like both Cream and the Stones but their respective music and concerts come from different places and are not fairly comparable. I saw Cream at RAH and MSG (where I also saw the Stones in Sept.) and enjoyed both of those shows immensely - but they simply do not/cannot generate anything like the same thrill or excitement of a Stones show. Ginger Baker is still the most outstanding drummer but

Orange Cow is dead right. It would be the very opposite of awesome and he's already had more than his 15 minutes of fame by virtue of touring around with the Stones. He can choose play in his own right if he wants fame on other terms.

It's normal practice to refer to a couple by saying "the" before their surname and to add "s" to the surname. What on earth is racist about that?! I don't understand where you're coming from at all.

Hector - that happened to me too. I left it to play the whole way through (without watching or sound) the first time with it just stopping and starting - then you just hit "replay this video" and it should play normally after that.

You could have fooled me... Blair's rock star persona was already emerging at school: "Blair as we knew him absolutely modelled himself on Mick Jagger," says Kellett. "I think we felt he copied Mick Jagger so brilliantly that he became Mick Jagger. His whole appearance, demeanour and desire suggested he wanted to be a rock star."

Yes - I received my two posters today (a singularly underwhelming experience).

No tickets have been on sale at all. It's just yet another rs.com eff-up - not only for Porto but also for all the other European shows which haven't yet been on sale. According to rs.com, all the presales except Switzerland have ended, which is rubbish.

What's so good about plastic surgery? Good on him for not having it when he so easily could. I know his image is no longer exactly rock 'n' roll but that would be THE END!! God forbid he should look anything other than like he does now - i.e., Mick Jagger. He looks great, wrinkles and all. Someone mentioned Joan Rivers - she looks perfectly dreadful.

5113. Re: A Joke
Here's one that's probably even older :-) On meeting Mick Jagger, jazzman George Melly commented on his wrinkles. Mick insisted they were laugh lines, to which Melly replied: "Nothing could be that funny."

Too true, Gazza! Maybe she'll do those other "honours" as well (dubiously received though they may be)...

Mick said in a fairly recent interview that if he was honest, it was sometimes difficult for him to remember exactly which place they were playing in! Given their schedule, I don't find that too hard to comprehend. I wouldn't set much store by too many of his remarks about a particular place - in a few instances, yes, but generally no. He's pretty hard and focused. If you are e

Underneath it all, Keith is quite well spoken. Mick has been pretending so long not to be well spoken that his accent has become almost indefinable and more of a parody than anything else. Ronnie has a veneer over what I'd call an essentially Cockney accent. Charlie's accent sounds even more London than Ronnie's - he is so completely devoid of any airs and graces and that includ

It came and went v. quickly (in November) in the UK, which didn't surprise me one bit - I watched it on a plane and unfortunately concluded that it would have been a waste of time and money to see it at the cinema.

Because you claim that the quality of the US shows was "so bad" and "musically it isn't good anymore". If you didn't attend any, what makes you such an expert on the subject? A DVD and the opinions of SIX of your friends??? That is laughable! Do you know what percentage of the number who DID attend and DID enjoy the shows you and they account for?
