Some of you lot are in denial. The end is eventually coming. Maybe this is the last tour? Maybe next year? But it's coming. We all know it. So why not enjoy it for what it is? The historical final run/s of the worlds greatest band. See them now if you can. This is history. Let's not bicker over who botched what.

What a silly post. Yes 2 do color. None wig. Oh my, yes they are getting old. And one day they will be gone. What are you lot going to complain about then? Enjoy them while you can. Or don't. But it's a bit rude that some of you keep pissing on other people's head.

QuoteStonedRambler Hope you don't mind if I ask, but why do people think Keith is sober? There are Backstage photos of Keith from Havana where he drank a wodka sunkist and smoked a joint. Also in recent interviews there's often a glass of wodka sunkist next to him. He is much less on the drink when the wife is around. She was in Hamburg.

QuoteOlly Quotechatoyancy It was only the first show. Keith takes time to warm up. Literally. Usually he takes off his jacket. He was cold last night. He is not an extrovert like Jagger. That's why he always had to have a strong drink before a show. But since he cut down on the liquor he has to deal soberly with a sudden crowd of 80,000 people. Not easy for a shy guy. Give him time. He c

Just be thankful they are rehearsing. Starting the engines one more time. So be happy we get another chance at seeing the boys, even if it turns out to be a similar set list.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteStonedRambler QuoteDandelionPowderman After 1997, I don't think Chuck would dare saying anything remotely negative about the Stones again. What happened in 1997? He gave an interview where he claimed to be the Stones's musical director etc. When they recorded B2B he wasn't invited. "musical director" is for the live shows. It has absolutel

Quotepowerage78 Your opinion. Not mine. After Jones and Taylor, Stones, the greatest, deserved a better guitarist than Wood. Just simple as that. I love this band... more less since some years... Nice solos on records by Taylor, but live Ron is much better. I'd venture to say the band may we'll have retired by now if not for Ron hitting notes Keith can't hit anymore. The anci

QuoteIanBillen So there ... to all the naysayers ... there is more evidence ... They are planning on finishing it (the new studio album). There is no cancellation of it Lol Ian They are certianly planning on finishing the new studio album. They just don't know when. I'd love to see them go in now. That's what it would take to get it out before a fall tour.

QuoteDandelionPowderman You have probably heard some of the stuff they're working on, mpj200. What's the main challenge when it comes to agreeing on tracks? I remember Keith said that this album really would surprise the fans. He always says something, but I got a different vibe this time... I have not. But to me it looks like the main challenge is just getting them together long enou

Bullocks. Rod was keen in the 90's to reunite. He toured with Mac half the decade. Woody had his calendar blocked by the Stones. So it never happened. Then in the 2,000's, Mac and Rod started a press war. They both said horrible things about each other. Mac was not without blame. He needed money. But the promoters didn't think the Faces could fill an arena without a Rod set fir

QuoteIanBillen I really doubt they will put off releasing the album until next year. There comes a point when putting an album off more and more starts to hurt rather than build excitement. See Guns N roses Chinese Democracy for the largest example of that. Sooner or later people start to get turned off by waiting 'tooooo' long. Sure.. it'll still do good... but some will t

This is just a wee hunch, but a fall tour with some B&L songs, followed by a new record next year and US ($) tour next year. Because there is no real pressure to release the record before a tour of Europe. That makes it easy to rationalize putting off recording sessions a while.

Until then this is the place to post anything you know about rumours related to the much talked about tour in Europe this year. Thanks BV. Hmm, the mere fact that you pen these very words suggests to me that perhaps it's looking less and l

A new album of originals likely puts everything back on the table. Including the States. We shall see. Hopefully they will stay healthy and carve out time to finish this record. But it has a long ways to go.

Everyday above ground is a positive day. I'm not pessimistic. Just a realist. They still have work to do. We'll see how the Spring goes. But recording has become more like putting together a puzzle. Rolling Stone confirming Mick and Keith got together, even if for only a week, is fantastic news.

I believe - pure speculation, that if the band can finish a record and release it, that anything is possible. Maybe a fall tour of Europe and then another tour 2018. Maybe the States? Could be a fantastic next two years if all stay healthy.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteIrix QuoteKarlos123 If you do the maths: No. $4 million for the band would mean for $200 per ticket at Waldbühne just for the band. No venue, no promoter, nothing else would have been paid. And highest tickets were 250€. Not possible. I had tried it here: . 5 Million US-$ per Show could mean 1.7 Million revenue if production costs are 2/3 of the entire cost

Quotegeorgelicks QuoteMadMax It's basically imperative that our boys finish on a high in Europe, preferably London obviously... But they'll keep on playing until they drop so there will be more shows.... I just hope we can catch 'em this year as well! They will not play until they drop, that's small talk to give the press headlines. If one of the band members is not on form
