Not sure how jazz standards will do in big stadiums.

The lyrics are definitely boring...you really can't have anything eloquent to say when you're singing about driving a car really fast. The intro is fantastic...I don't find it awkward. It's a clever intro...definitely the most creative from Keith in a while.

If we combine all the members here, Rocks Off, It's A Gas and SHIDOOBEE with we could maybe reach the $5-10 million range. The location would have to be in a place that would be fair for EVERYONE, and the venue would have to be big enough for everyone coming. I don't see them succumbing to our needs or "demands"...set lists ideas or whatever. They'd probably scof

They're both cool. Cool people don't channel any one--they're just who they are.

They've done it a couple times in different ways...in Four Flicks in the Twickenham set during HTW...they almost share a mic. Micks sings really close to Keith but each has their own mic. I've heard reports and seen pictures that they also did it on opening night in Chicago for the B2B tour during "19th Nervous Breakdown"

According to Stonesdoug over at Shidoobee he heard 14 confirmed European dates are set.

They got greedy. After Keith's fall..things got really messy and really fast. The cancelling of Europe dates was the beginning of the end. Thinking they could make a good thing out of a losing situation....they got deeper in the hole. Probably not so much financially "in the hole" but in terms of morale. They lost a lot of steam from their fans in the last couple months.

Keith's best in a long time. I never liked it live...it sounded empty, weak and messy. The studio cut is tight. Live, it's missing Mick's harp which adds to the groove of the song.

There are enough songs to have a 20 song best of rarities DVD along with the Austin show.

Keith does lay down some great solos in Flip the Switch in that DVD...I'd like this song a lot more if it weren't for the less than average lyrics. Out of Control blows any song from that album or ABB or VL out of the water.

Definitely played it like they knew it like the back of their hand. Keith shined during his solo.

Casual/young fans left that show knowing that just watched history. No one left hissing at the stage. If they were...than THAT"S when you know it's over. But that didn't happen 25,000 people to see 4 guys? If that's not success--you don't know what you're talking about. To call Soldier Field's show a humiliating is greedy. You just want technicalities

Pff. Rock classics? Hardly. Someone should have tricked him and made him cover his own songs from the 70's...at least that would have been better than the garbage in this new cd.

Hey thanks buddy! Really means a lot. Yeah the chords are really simple. C and F basically. Here's a link to the chords.. Here's a couple other songs... You Can't Always Get What You Want My own version of "Ivy League" that outtake from the Voodoo Lounge sessions. I put my own lyrics and guitar. Mine is called "The Best" Oh and

Here's a version that I did the other day of a song that I can listen to all day...everyday! Hope you enjoy it!

Consider that version and the next half a dozen as "rehearsals." It's obvious this song was put on stage very prematurely. Had he rehearsed this during their usual pre-tour rehearsal-time of 2 weeks...the song would've sounded 10 times better.

I think because they didn't have ample time for him to know the song well enough. For No Security, he decided weeks before opening night that he was going to sing it so he rehearsed it inside and out. It's obvious that they pulled out some obscure songs to please the fans, last minute. I don't think Keith knows the guitar parts well enough...just the lyrics. He probably needed

The song would fit great. Just Mick on a stool with a guitar. Then he goes straight into Sister Morphine..and the band comes in. That's how it plays out in my mind.
