I think we have strayed from the original reason for my post, I was trying to stimulate some digging that might in some way help to kick up interest in finding and getting out to all of us a possibly new release from the 1972 tour. I remember reading here once, I don't remember who it was, but that individual stated that most is not all of the shows were taped but probably will not be released because of the bootleggers. One has to believe that the majority of the missing show were taped.

To me Mick Taylor is truly a gifted guitarist, never was a great vocalist or song writer. It seems that no matter which artist he is working with, he always adds so much of himself to that music, and in the end, that artist's music certainly becomes Taylor's also. I was listening to my version and it differs quite a bit from the version on "alabama jubilee"". Mine has Chip Monck talking to the crowd about some fans who seemed to have sat down in front or some such thing, it also does not have those fans talking. The sound is much deeper and possibly the tape runs a bit slow. Has anyone heard a version like this?
