Quotebillwebster I don't think so. I just think it would be interesting to see her sing this song with Jagger and the Stones, I really like her singing in this performance but I don't like U2's sound and playing in this song at all.

QuoteRollin92 He had that solo on the bag at the 25th Nov 02, he hasn't been able to get anywhere near that since...frustrating because he is more than capable of doing it. Yes I just watched it and there really is some real effort, Keith should make it even better than this, then we could really have something..

Quoteandrewt Quoteroby SFTD... 3:26, Keith tries an approach... No, thanks guy. Wow. I am stunned how neutered SFTD is. The solo is down to a few notes over four bars or so. As an end to the main set it is shocking how little energy the performance has, as if they just wanted to get it over with. I haven't seen any really good and inspired performance of STFD since 70s, based on vid

QuoteDeanGoodman I'm as guilty as anyone else when it comes to bitching and moaning about this tour and the guests (specifically Katy Perry, John Mayer), but when you're there in the moment watching the live show - rather than dissecting some cell phone video looking for technical flaws - what you get is Dave's contagious enthusiasm. It raised the bar for the rest of the show. Yo

Quotecrumbling_mice Dave Grohl is tiresome...all that flapping about for very little musically and what he does play is not suited to Bitch. I wasn't aware of his comments about Keith but if that's the case why the @#$%& did they let him be last night's special pest? Let's face it Grohl will turn up to the opening of a super market if invited so not such a big attraction.

Quotesabata You got the silver Very good sound and great song but if I'm honest I must say that Keith seems somehow slow or like he is lacking energy. I guess the age and the rolling years are finally taking its toll. Ronnie looks much younger and energetic. I hope Keith takes all the necessary vitamins, I mean the real vitamins.

Quotehbwriter some takes on Anaheim tonight - wonderful show - if a show makes you forget everything in the outside world - if you get lost in it - it is great. Tonight was majestic in many ways Grohl on Bitch was amazing - he pushed Jagger into another realm - Bobby Keys was very good on it - but he energized things - that felt special serious lack of anything between mick and keith- k

QuoteDoxa Hello! The original version of "Rocks Off" is for me about the finest recorded pieces of The Rolling Stones caught in studio - its feel, the roll, the groove, the loosiness, the magical sloppiness, the production, the assemblage of tracks, instruments, noises, played by top inspired players - and Jagger's edgy vocals icing the cake. It captures the live feeling so wond

Bernard Fowler posts a picture on Facebook, there's a setlist with Sway and Love in Vain, really hoping to see Mick T. to play at least in one of those songs. Really hope my wish is not Love in Vain...

QuoteGRNRBITW QuoterollingonThe money must be a secondary question at this point. I can't believe the money is the key factor here. wrong-o. the proof would be the answer to this: if the stones were guaranteed, say, 1/10th of what they are getting on this tour (meaning ticket prices would be in the $50-75 range), do you honestly believe they'd bother? answer: no way. mone

Quotetriceratops Obviously the love of money is greater than the hate. Look at the poor Kinks. Kinks could make some good koin if they went out and toured because the world has been without fresh live Kinks for 20 years. There is pent up demand. But in this case the hate is greater than the love of money. The hatred beteween the Davies brothers. They better do it soon because their tour value dec

They must have so must "baggage" between them from the 60s, 70s and 80s, and they are not very easy persons I guess (Ronnie hasn't said this directly but between the lines one can read this...), neither of them, I think they respect each other very much musically but as people become older, they sometimes become also less flexible and open minded so this can cause problems between

QuoteJumpinJackOLantern Quoterollingon QuoteThrylan OK....I love my Stones, but lets be real, as a musician myself, this is......mediocre. I will watch every video, buy the dvd and see them if they come close. That being said, if the tempos get any slower, they will have to cut the setlist to about 15 songs. For some, they could walk out and piss and it would be the greatest show ever! Bullshit!

Quoteroby Otherwise, hard drug is back again in the Stones camp ^^ Quotecrumbling_mice I think it is very misleading for anyone from the Stones camp to suggest they are playing better than when they were 30. It is just not true and can only be related to Keith and Charlie and Mick Taylor none of which are playing anywhere near as good as even 1981. He says this to sell tickets and create inter

Quotesonomastone Quotekowalski Jumpin' Jack Flash from Anaheim : sounds great, as it has all tour. but is anyone else tired of ronnie repeating that one line over and over again? The sound quality is just great, but everything is too much a "production", no any improvisation or jamming feeling, of course the last time there was a really spontaneous feeling THROUGHOUT the sh

They should announce in advance when tickets go to sale that these particular concerts are more aimed for mainstream audience meaning a lot of hit songs in the setlist and on the other hand these particular concerts are more aimed for real fans who know all the records and the setlist in these concerts would include just a few hit songs and much more other material. Particularly this approach wou

Quotetriceratops Love in Vain with Mick Taylor should have been the old blues tune last night. Not the annoying Champagne and Reefer with John Mayer. We've had enough Mayer for this tour. I agree totally, I will be really disappointed if they won't play Love in Vain WITH Mick Taylor during this tour...

Why so few ballads? I really like Waiting on a Friend and YCAGWYW but I don't consider them as real ballads at all, Where is Wild Horses, Angie, Fool to Fry or Memory Motel? Also The Beast of Burden was so great perfomance by Jagger and Ronnie in Las Vegas that they really should consider playing it in every concert! And it's also very odd that they don't play Street Figh

QuotePhillyFAN Quoterollingon Quotesonomastone What the commenter you speak of says is that Taylor's tendency to constantly solo mars (makes worse) a lot of the live performances of the period. The point is not that Keith was jealous but that Keith had to tell him to cool it in order to sae the performance. Yes, I agree totally with this. I have seen the Stones in Philly since 1969. They

QuoteMizzAmandaJonez Best I've seen are 72, then 75 Worst was maybe 89? Worst is the wrong word to use. I think this one is very good, so far. Needs: 1. More MT 2. Keith thinking outside the box on his solo set 3. Guests who are more prepared and more appropriate for the song 4. Less expensive tix Very good points those needs! In my opinion the best tours are 7

I think they really haven't decided this yet themselves, the key question is if the spirit inside the band will remain very strong and positive, if it's fun to play and not any health issues will occur (how about Ronnie injuring his hand a little bit and mick t. would come to his place??? Just joking...)they will play in the biggest European cities, maybe 2 concerts in Paris, 2 in Ba
