I think both Mick and Keith are really good friends with Bill Clinton. I don't know about Obama but Mick was in the White House so maybe they are also some kind of friends. Mick and Keith are now Respectable.

QuoteMathijs Why would we want more Taylor? I think this is just awful: Why the hell doesn't he have a 5 minute listen to the album version? Why is he just noodling his way through some bring jazz fusion finger practising runs? Mathijs I agree that this is quite different from the album version, but still I liked it very much, I wasn't there myself but the applause from the

QuoteErik_Snow Quoteandrewt QuoteGreen Lady Brilliant! Nevermind some bum notes from Taylor, I think this is brilliant, as well At least for me, Taylor's appearance on this tour has brought new interest in the band - even though it's not musically perfect; I'm eager on every new second when listening to the "Taylor songs" ; and I bet Jagger is too....at least, it lo

Quotebonddm I think they should slot Love In. Vain in after Keith's set and before Rambler. Agreed. Love in Vain with Mick Taylor playing lead could be really something special.

QuoteRobertJohnson I have still in my ears the great medley If You Can't Rock Me/Get Off Of My Cloud from 75/76. What a difference in the guitar skills, although there are the same guitarists today. A history of decline ... Yes we are always talking about Mick Taylor era which was of course outstanding in guitar playing and also often complaining about Keith's playing since 1994 but w

Quotebenstones Just arrive at the hotel. Awesome show. From begining to last song. Better than First Chicago (and First Chicago was amazing) But tonight the level was really high!!! CYHMK was unbelievable, the BEST version I have ever heard and seen. MT was fabulous. And Midnight? WOW. I couldn't believe How good was this version. Mick was on FIRE! Keith was so happy and comfo

Quoteduke richardson Quotekleermaker What about this SFM? Probably the best one ever. The crowd will go crazy if they play it like this. i love this frenzied version of SFM but they'll never sound or play that way again. the tempo is almost half of that, when they play it now. still i'd love to hear Taylor play on it. it would bring it to life.. On the other hand we are ver

Quoteschillid Great clip... great performance from the other night... Now think about this too: Can you imagine how mind-blowing it would be if Mick Taylor were to join in? (Only problem is that the arena might explode.) p.s... TIP: Chuck, turn off the metronome. As for playing (especially Taylor) That Brussels 73 version is unreal but as for Jagger's voice it could be e

QuoteSweetThing Well, my theory is Jagger (or whoever) is simply not going to let Taylor play on anything where it would cause a case for the band not being able to go back without Taylor and have it sound obviously inferior. Midnight Rambler after all, sounds fine live without Taylor. Satisfaction simply doesn't matter. Studio version is iconic. No one cares how it sounds live now,

Quote71Tele Quotesonomastone Quotewinter Quoteduffydawg Voted for Sway to be played tomorrow..... Holy Sh*t! Sway is on the list again? Wow, fingers crossed for you guys (and MT). Just because I hate it when you guys get all emotional after a show - be prepared for the possibility of them playing Sway without MT. Why would they do that after playing it with him? Just to #¤%"#¤%#¤% up

As far as I'm concerned they could drop a couple of warhorses and play all of those songs, and the same thought crossed my mind during the previous voting.

Quotekleermaker Quotewinter If we're only going to get him 12 minutes a night, put him on something instead of MR. I'd rather he get to play on two 6-minute 'regular' formatted (verse/chorus) songs as a real soloist. MR, frankly, is one morass of tempo changes, vamps, the complete stop near song's end, jam changes, etc. Unlike most of their set, it's not an easy son

QuoteFloorbird Cut him some slack, of course his playing in 007 was weaker he was getting over major brain surgery. The side effects of "Dilantin"(anti-seizure med} is pretty nasty, esp combined with alcohol. Do you know if he is still using this kind of medicine?

They never say how but its a fact he used methadone. Dr meg did

Quotestonesrule Just looking at the brain scans would be enough to realize he had done himself a lot of damage. I'm sure he has done himself a lot of damage but the drugs and alcohol may have had also a significant positive effect on his creativity, I'm not pro drugs at all in general but I understand that sometimes they can help creative process and finding new things. There seems to be quite a few very promising rock bands nowadays, there are plenty of pop bands and pop singers and of course metal bands, but oddly somehow very good traditional rock bands are missing or there are only a few.

QuoteGravityBoy Keith is mentally alert. You can see it in his eyes. He just must keep up this alertness and shouldn't be too "comfort" with playing. When he is mentally alert he really brings groove to the songs.

I think it would be more effective if everyone would send this message wanting Mick Taylor on more songs in social media, especially Rolling Stones and individual members' Facebook-pages and Twitter-accounts, I think that Mick Jagger and the rest of the band are more interested in Facebook and Twitter than this site because this site can be seen by them as hard core fan site, instead the soc
