He probably could fit it in but with some adjustments to the arrangements of the songs. He did play on some of the originals like "All down the line", Tumbling Dice, Shine a light When he joined in on Keith's songs he blended in as a member of the band and added little flourishes. As much as some of us would like to see him back it will never happen. I don't think he wants to.

QuoteTheflyingDutchman QuoteDoxa But then again, one cannot expect one to re-invent the whole guitar playing in every note one plays every time... Even if one is Jimi Hendrix or Mick Taylor... That sort of criticism could be directed also towards Taylor's doings in the 'glory days'. Especially if one listens his solos during European Tour 1973, it is following, no matter how g

I still here Faces influence. Especially Rw slide work. Reminiscent of Stay with Me and Miss Judy's Farm. At least to my old ears. It's still a stellar song.

RW was excellent in The Faces. I have seen them live three times and was very impressed. He does not have the opportunity to compose as he did in The Faces. RW wrote some beautiful songs and played beautifully as well. If you listen to the Stones "Rough Justice" it sounds exactly like The Faces. I could tell RW fuzzy funky guitar from the opening cords.

I have seen MT play in the Rolling Stones in 1969,1972 and 2013 in Philadelphia. A lot of younger fans have never had that experience. I cannot explain how great the music was. They were hot and I don't think any other band could come close. The boot Philadelphia Special is incredible so is Brussels. As much as I would like to see him back in the band for a few songs it will never happen.

QuoteMidnightGambler Hello, Here is the situation concerning Mick Taylor playing on SATISFACTION during the 2013 US Tour. It is in Washington that he changed from electric to acoustic I was at San Jose when he played it live and on electric for the very first time. San Jose was an amazing show, surely the best of the 17 shows I have seen since 2012. 1. April 27 Los Angeles Echople

They are local Philly Boys that always were part of the Philly soul sound in the 70's and 80's. One of the few white act's that played at Philly's Uptown theatre. They are local heroes and made some great music. Good music has always come outta Philly.

I certainly agree with you. It seems the tracks with Keith was not able to been on are more melodic and creative then the usual rock n roll. Somewhat adventurous for the Stones and those songs were brilliant. It makes one wonder what the music could have evolved into if he did not leave. I am sure the would always be a rock n roll band but put out a few brilliant master pieces here and here like

I personally believe Mick Taylor is one of the most brilliant guitarists and in a class with Jimi Hendrix. His talent always stands out and he is still a brilliant player. I think he probably has had enough of "show business" and wants to enjoy his senior years. He has never made the money that made touring life easy and at his age climbing in and out of vans and hauling your own equipme

There is a FB group for Mick Taylor " Time waits for no one".t This is from Rolling Stone magazine interview Jagger Remembers. What about the contribution of Mick Taylor to the band in these years? I think he had a big contribution. He made it very musical. He was a very fluent, melodic player, which we never had, and we don't have now. Neither Keith nor plays that kind o

I have been a big fan since 1969. My first show in Philadelphia and enjoyed them for decades. They are old men now All four of them and with age come decline. As much as I am excited at the prospect of a new tour announcement I realize it may be their last and quite honestly. They will never play as good as in their youth. The decline in playing came a while back and it is progressing. But it is
