Mick glaring at Ronnie for the whole show after Ronnie had a little too much fun with Motley Crue preshow. The solo on "Tumbling Dice" sounded like Sonic Youth & not in a good way. They turned Ronnie way down after that & let him run around the stage for the rest of the show. Blondie Chaplin played a lot that night from kind of behind the amps. Keith was awesome & picked up

Quotedadrob I stopped seeing him (or Johnny Winter) and many others Jeff Beck ZZ Top (including the Stones) because for me the magic is gone. just my opinion I was lucky enough to see Jeff Beck last October from the front row. He has lost nothing & is still pushing boundaries. Judging by the new song that he played, I think the new album is going to be a very pleasant surprise to all.

Thanks to all for the input. Historically, he hasn't played in the US much. He's playing the symphony hall in Seattle which would be cool but is on a bad night. I might go see him at Pearl Theater @ the Palms in Vegas. Good venue, I saw Jeff Beck & Brian Wilson there. It's a little sterile but the sound is excellent.

Went to Las Vegas. It was pretty good. I'd give it a B grade. The highlight for me was Midnight Rambler. Was a little disappointed they didn't use Mick Taylor for a few more songs. Unless they play near where I live, probably my last show. I'm good with that, as the show was decent.
