Given that unvaccinated people will be going without masks here in the US as well as those who are vaccinated (who knows who's who?), I hope this doesn't backfire . . . Seems a tad premature to me. I'll need to continue wearing mine, anyway.

Quotejbwelda QuoteNate QuoteMisterDDDD Vaccinated is vaccinated. Jesus, we're supposed to worry about vaccinated people traveling and going out etc now? Laughable. Nope. The fear mongering and negativity is strong in some. Time for everyone to become acquainted with the Flaming Lips, and Wayne Coyne, showman extraordinaire. They were doing stuff like this pre-pandemic.

Quotecrholmstrom QuoteAquamarine So, judging from an NYT article, it seems that immunocompromised people like me who take certain drugs don't respond to the coronavirus vaccines. (Which also explains why I had no reactions to the jabs.) This sucks rather a lot, but I've signed up for a registry which provides information and antibody tests. I'm immunocompromised & Have to

QuoteHairball Quotecrholmstrom Vaccines are available for everyone over age 16 in Washington state now. Of course, trying to get an appointment is mayhem. Glad I was able to get started a month ago. Getting second shot on Saturday. Same here in California, and same here about getting started - one down, one to go. . I don't think it's been that hard here for people who want the vaccin

Tulsa is an amazing little city, where I spent many happy times pre-Covid, especially at Cain's Ballroom. The Guthrie Center is worth a visit just in itself. Plus you can now visit the house where they filmed The Outsiders!

Quotempj200 Vaccine Passports are coming. But this is what it looks like for now... the latest blog from industry insider Bob Lefsetz. “ As for the older acts… They’re not going out. The Stones, the Eagles, they’re still afraid of the virus. They might do streams in the interim, to keep the public hungry and attentive, but the prices they’re talking about…the Stones are gonna use flex pricing

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteElmo Lewis I have had both shots (Moderna) with no side effects - except an overwhelming desire to listen to the Rolling Stones. Same with Pfizer, intensifies dramatically when I drive by or see a stadium.

This is a classic example of a show where you just had to be there, the video and recordings don't convey a fraction of what it was like, IMO. Though I still enjoy them!

QuoteTheGreek Quote24FPS QuoteTheGreek Quoteteleblaster I know a few people who have a tender arm after the Pfizer vaccine. Mine was OK, but I had headaches, chills, fatigue, etc., for a couple of days after my second vaccination. Fine now. I am super worried about my 2nd shot in a few weeks as I have never had a flu shot and have heard all the stories of people feeling f

Quotedaspyknows Quote24FPS Quotecrholmstrom I called the pharmacy I use when they opened yesterday. They are part of a small chain & have constant computer issues. I was unable to get on a waiting list via their website. Turns out very few are calling direct to get on the waiting list. I was able to schedule for this afternoon. Am getting shot #1 of Moderne, which is the vaccine my doctor pre

I only saw Tina once, with the Ikettes and her POS husband--despite whom, it was an absolutely electric performance and I'll never forget the way she shimmied across the stage. The fact that I was so blown away by her while waiting for the Stones who were the headliners is a testament to how how compelling and all-around awesome she was!

I just got my second dose, praise Zeus. I recently saw a comment by a woman who said "When the nurse injected it into my arm, I felt like I'd been relieved of a burden I didn't even know I was carrying." I think a lot of people can relate.

The pharmacy sent me two automated emails and one automated phone call to remind me, but when I got there they didn’t have any vaccine because it had all gone to newly eligible people and they hadn’t held any back for people needing second doses. No way to know when I’ll get it now. That sound

QuoteMisterDDDD This is a (US) National site where one can sign up to receive a text message if there are extra or unused vaccines in your area. Fairly common occurrence I've read. 1300 got a middle of the night surprise in Seattle when refrigeration broke last month.. Thanks for this info, have passed it on to friends. Meanwhile I get dose no. 2 tomorrow!

QuoteNate QuoteBeast Fans and artists must have Covid vaccine before attending music festivals, say organisers I will be taking the vaccine as soon as it’s offered to me and I would encourage other people to do the same but I believe that shutting people out of large parts of society because they don’t want to take a vaccine is wrong and a dangerous path to take. Nate I would suggest t
