Why and how would it be rigged? I don't think the box office staff know what's in the envelopes. Tuesday I arrived about 6pm, was handed an envelope. 2 excellent seats, block 109. Friday, 3.30pm, invited to choose from 12-15 envelopes fanned out. Gold Circle. Thank you Jesus. Thank you, Lord.

Quotegrzegorz67 QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Quotenobodyimportant I presume this doesn't include the secondary sites that are owned by the promoters? Doesn’t TicketBastards own Stubhub? They’re definitely milking both ends of the cow. Stubhub is owned by eBay. Ticketmaster own both Seatwave and Getmein. To me, that just takes the piss. There is nothing to stop the Primary Seller from diverting

Quotewuzznbuddy Quoteandy js Has anyone had to produce visual ID when collecting their lucky dips yet ? Or is the credit card and info number all you needs ? Not asked for credit card at both London gigs. But asked for photo ID, which was carefully scrutinised. Same. We got gold circle today, delighted.

We were right outside while Liam Gallagher was on, and could barely hear him.

Just got my LD email for tomorrow: "Box Office B is open from 1PM - 6:30PM, please see the map below for location. We advise you arrive early to avoid queueing, between 1PM and 3PM, to collect your tickets." Note the ticket office closing time! It did not say that for the first show. We rocked up about 6 pm with no sense of urgency.

Saw them last autumn, they were great. The only song not played that I would have liked (but didn't expect) was 2000 Miles. But I got my wish a few weeks later when I went to see Robert Plant at the RAH. Chrissy was a guest and they sang it together

I had a small bag that exceeds A5 size by a cm each way. I also have a sleeveless fishing jacket that friends jokingly call my "suicide vest". It has tons of pockets, inside and out and an a big pocket along the back. I found it in a charity shop and have worn it to a few outdoor gigs and festivals. I considered wearing it instead of using the bag, but thought I would be too h

LD box office at the bottom of South Lawn, near bridge 5. We went straight to one of the windows. There was a long queue for something else (bag deposit?)

QuoteTopi You pick the envelope yourself. I was handed an envelope. (6 pm, block 109 row 17) They were also not bothered about checking the credit card, but there were several windows open so may have been different there.

We turned up about 6 pm and got good lower tier seats not too far from the stage. Very happy with that.

If London gigs finish at 2230, I have a reasonable chance of catching the last train home. If they finished later, I might not be able to afford to go to many as I would need to pay for accommodation. As it is, I can't go to gigs in various places that are only 50 to 80 miles away because the last trains are too early. There must be lots of people in a similar position.

QuotehilaryTo be honest,in the last years i've not seen much crowd reaction generally, not only during Miss You. I don't know if this is because of the avarage age that is not that low,but it's really boring seeing people almost staring during the gig, apart for argentinian or spanish audience. Phones and other mobile media are killing real life experiences.

If, as they say, LD ticket holders will be escorted straight into the stadium, then it seems unlikely that LDs will be issued that early.

I must say their use of the term "clutch bag" is confusing since they say "with or without handle or strap". By definition, a clutch bag has neither!

But i've just got some £30 lucky dips for the hell hole that is Coventry Better be worth it Don’t be too quick to bash Coventry. Until WW2 it was a beautiful old Tudor city with many fine buildings and a Cathedral. It was reduced to rubble in one night in November 1940. You can blame the poor taste, pl

About the bags, I think they simply don't want to have to search though large bags; the smaller the bag, the quicker it is to check. IIRC they did something similar at Hyde Park last summer, although they allowed slightly larger bags. There was an outline to check the bag against. They weren't too fussy about the exact size. My regular bag is also more A4 size, so I visited the ch

QuoteGJB So another 10.30 curfew... condemning us to another 19 song set. It does seem the UK in particular (certainly compared with Italy, Spain) are sticklers for an early curfew. I do get we have to consider residents etc. but surely 11 would be ok! The lack of late-night trains would make it difficult for a lot of people to get home. For us it's OK in the week, but last train on a

Bruce doesn't have many "warhorses" really. Big hits such as Hungry Heart, The River and BITUSA are not always played. You can expect to hear: Born To Run Dancing In The Dark Tenth Avenue (played because it is about the history of the band) The Rising The Darlington County/Working On The Highway duo are played more often than the diehards like, because they bring all the

QuoteRollingFreak But everyone that wanted to see them had the opportunity and should have last tour. Not really. There weren't that many shows, only 2 shows in the UK and they clashed with the BST Hyde Park shows, which many people already had tickets for when the U2 shows were announced. It was very disappointing. I really wanted to go, but couldn't get a ticket for the Saturday

I don't have any vinyl records any more. Or so I thought! But yesterday I found, at the bottom of a drawer, the original 12 inch single of New Order's 'Blue Monday'. I have given it to a friend who recently bought himself a turntable. He was about 5 when Blue Monday came out, and he is well pleased with it.
