Could anybody hear Sasha tonight, I wonder.

I would swap "nosebleeds" in a heartbeat for not being there at all! Don't worry, we had them in Southampton but it's a far cry from getting them in a stadium twice the size like London. We had a great view and it was brilliant seeing the whole of the stage all the time. A different experience from standing but it kind of rounded things out for me.

I'm hoping against hope that there might be some late LDs for Twickenham, or that some kind soul will have a spare.

Quotesyrel QuoteTekumseh The thing is that you can not enter with LD-tickets without the LD-stamp on your hand, so there was no point in giving them away. Did this happen to you? It's the first I've heard of this kind of thing. It didn't happen to me at London 1 - no one checked my hand stamp, and the ticket office allowed me to pick up my pair without my friend there, so he w

Quoteslewan the only realistic options – beside the songs they used as openers so far – are: - Satisfation - Brown Suger (an opener for a Stones show has to be a well known song etc) Don't you think 19th NB would work? It's got a good hook to get the audience involved straight away. Is there a reason they don't play it much now?

And there were so many food and drink stalls outside, it was like a fairground We were surprised how little there was on offer around London Stadium. The catering was very poor. I know there are tons of places in Westfield, but after picking up our LDs we didn't feel like trekking all the way back there and back again.

Well said, sjs. I wouldn't dream of throwing a ticket away without doing my best to find someone who could use it.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotesjs12 I thought Sasha was pretty much inaudible on her solo in GS. It was strange because you could see her screaming away into the microphone but you just couldn't hear her. Such a shame really as this is meant to be a climatic moment. Someone should tell the sound engineer that she is doing more than backing vocals on this bit! It was the same on London #1

Quotevertigojoe It sounded good in the venue too but I'm firmly of the opinion it shouldn't be performed if he's gonna change the words as much as he did at St Mary's. Either do it as it was written or consign it the dustbin of different times but don't try to fit it into some PC mindset that really doesn't suit. Well, quite. Would Tina Turner or Kim Carnes chan

Quoteslewan Twickenham seems to be sold out (at least there are no more tickets available at AXS). Seems to be the only show on this tour that is sold out before the day of the show I had a similar result when looking at Southampton tickets on Monday, but it clearly wasn't sold out as the box office was doing good business on the day.

One odd thing re the show not being quite sold out (there were a few empty seats near us). I was curious to see which seats were being sold in which price category, so the day before the show I tried to book a few (without completing) to see what came up. A couple of categories were already marked as sold out, but there appeared to be availability on most. However, everything I tried came up

Quotegrzegorz67 Quoteflairville However, you have seen loads of shows for hardly any money and who would have thought anyone could say that?! I couldn’t believe it when I had Pit B in the envelope yesterday! I was fully prepared for the worst but the stadium was so small I don’t think there was a bad seat in the house. You’ll get Pit next time! I said exactly that to my LD gig buddy last nig

Quotejohn lomax Sasha's microphone is too quiet in Gimme Shelter - her part should really stand out but at the 3 shows I have seen on this tour it's been hard to hear her. Yes, I agree. At London 1 I thought it must be an oversight on someone's part, but I couldn't hear her at London 2 or last night either. Disappointing.

Quotegrzegorz67 Quotekwoznica grzegorz, nobodyimportant, what time did you collect your tickets? 4.30 for me. What's people's thinking on LDs? Is it the case that the earlier you turn up, the luckier you're likely to be? So far in UK. Quotegrzegorz67 Quotenobodyimportant Well, we got nosebleeds of a sort, but there aren't really any nosebleeds at St Mary's so no complaints here! Terrific view and we weren't much further away than we were in the excellent seats we had at London 1. That’s what I got. I enjoyed myself and have no complaints at all. My LD Partner, 60 ish, always liked the Stones but hadn’t previo

Quoteslewanby the way: there's a number on the lower left and right side of the LD tickets indicating the # of the LD ticket. on Tuesday I had # 41/200, on Friday #592/1000 – which means the had 1000 LD tickets for Friday! My Friday GC ticket was #511/1000, but Tuesday's was #19/100. That one was a seat though.

The Vaccines were on before the Stones at Hyde Park 2013. Weatherwise, it's not been going according to the forecasts. It was supposed to rain here* Saturday and Sunday but both have been warm and sunny, although we did have thunder and lightning last night, but not much rain. * about 50 miles N of Southampton.
