I have mixed feelings on Dream Canteen. Most fans seem to love it. I am very happy that Chili Peppers fans have so much new music to enjoy, and clearly the band is in a good place right now. I had 13 "keepers" on Unlimited Love and 11 on Canteen. I think overall I like the keeper songs on UL more. There are many good songs on Dream Canteen, The Drummer and Reach Out are two of my fav

I want a new album so bad. Secretary, take a letter! To: The Rolling Stones. Somewhere in England, maybe? Dear Mr. Stones, How are you? I am fine. We don't want to bug you, but if you could put out a new album soon, we sure would appreciate it. See, the thing is, we like your music, and we'd like to hear some more. And, time isn't on our side, if you get our drift!

Reddit is saying the tweet is fake too. Too bad. I want to believe. Anyway, the pictures of them at the studio are real. Hopefully new music will be here sooner rather than later. I would be beyond excited to get a new album.

Quotekeefgotsoul Quotejahisnotdead Quotekeefgotsoul Holy crap. After all this time, are we finally getting somewhere? This guy is a major producer. If this tweet is real, I seriously doubt he would be talking out of school about a project this big. I just saw it on the Steve Hoffman forum. I checked Tedder's Twitter feed and didn't see the tweet. That doesn't automatically m

I've heard the new album "Return Of The Dream Canteen" coming out next week. So far fan reaction is very positive overall.

Quotetreaclefingers No need to be a prick about it. I just asked a question...if you didn't like it...move on. Excuse me. You came into a thread asking for people's opinions of the movie after other people had already given their opinions of the movie. You come across as either too lazy to read the thread before posting or too self centered to think anyone else's posts matter

I worry that all their new album recordings are going to go into the vault so that their great-great-grandchildren will have some dough.

I think the only album that doesn't really sound like the others is One Hot Minute, and it doesn't sound that drastically different to my ears. I'm With You is a bit melancholy and sounds like they were in a transition period, but I think Josh's guitar playing was very much in John's style. I thought The Getaway was great. Either way, I like the fact that not every album

I'm envious that they're able to find their creative spark and are getting so much pleasure from creating music together.

Well, I can say that Matt Lee's videos of this tour have been just outstanding, truly some of the best fan shot footage I've ever seen for any band. He's really gone above and beyond with both quality, quantity, and upload speed. Thank you, Matt Lee.

Do you do any karaoke Rolling Stones songs? What are some of your favorites? Any rare or unexpected (non-warhorse) songs among the ones you enjoy singing?

It's just a funny meme. I sincerely doubt that Ringo has played a full sets worth of music in decades. When I saw the All Starr Band decades ago, I think Ringo drummed on one song, and even then had a second drummer on stage.

I'm watching Paris July 11, 2003 right now and so impressed with the whole band, playing like a sledgehammer. They just did "That's How Strong My Love Is" and Mick sings it so well. It's an outstanding vocal performance, in my humble opinion. He does a bit where the whole band goes softer in volume, and Mick pulls the microphone away from his face and then yells the ne

Midnight in London, England. It's July 12, 2022. Sixty years ago today, the Rolling Stones took the stage for the first time. They played at the Marquee Club. And they played in Brussels just last night. What an incredible run for any band, actually for any group of people in any field. How often does such a thing happen? Sixty years as a unit propelled by the same partnership? S

I disagree. They may have started by doing covers, but in my opinion the Rolling Stones did not become the band people love by only doing covers. Once they started writing their own songs they really became The Rolling Stones. To me it's the difference between the Stones covering a song and a "Rolling Stones song." I feel that once any band stops creating original music, they
