Like some others have said, I also didn't like what I heard on the initial leak. But this one was a grower like few songs I've ever heard. The first listen with good sound and a comfortable place was much better. About three listens in I was blown away. This is really tremendous stuff that's such a pleasure to listen to. To me it's my third favorite song on the record. Every t

My second favorite song on the album. I think it's really wonderful and inspiring. A great mix of hard rock verses and a poppy chorus that I think compliment each other beautifully.

This is my favorite song off the entire album. A+ That chorus tickles the pleasure center in my brain. The songwriting is so very good. Imho they outdid themselves on this track. I can just put it on repeat and enjoy it every time.

I'm giving it a 6.5 out of 10, which sounds like a low score but overall I'm happy and pleased with the album. There are 8 tracks that are keepers and 4 that I would pass on. Hopefully the ones I didn't care for will grow on me. Angry - I think this is a solid song that rocks yet also has a bit of a wistful country vibe about it. I like that the last minute is just plain rock, w

I'm sad to hear of Eric's passing. It's a loss, and my condolences to his family and friends. I did not know him outside the forum but I enjoyed his posts and I was very much looking forward to reading his opinions on the new album. I know he was as excited as I was.

QuoteDoxa So much stupid talk here. Do people have a life? But a new Stones album, first since BLUE&LONESOME.. Yeah! - Doxa QuoteDoxa The counting boys - 18 years and blah blah - are idiots. Not as a person, but as Stones fans. Is A BIGGER BANG better than, say, El MOCAMBO or the film of SOME GIRLS LIVE IN TEXAS 78? What would you actually prefer? Lots of stuff, lots of great stuff

I couldn't really rank them in order, but I probably could come up with a list. I was just on a site coming up with my top 5. Top 100 would be a little easier!

I think few expected the Stones to continue on touring into their sixties and seventies, so hoping they would go on into their eighties might be a lot to ask. Recently Gene Simmons had to take a break during a KISS concert and I guess finished the show sitting on a chair. Frankly, it just looked sad. I was reminded of the first time Mike Nesmith of the Monkees retired from performing. At the time

Ron Wood - New painting of the Rolling Stones in Cuba Ronnie showcased a new painting of the Rolling Stones performing on the streets of Cuba. It's a pleasant surprise for me to see Darryl included in the painting. It's also interesting to see that Charlie apparently had Wolverine claws. That's a fun trivia fact!

It's all professional and slickly produced, as expected. All the songs are faithfully done. For young people who haven't heard them before it should be a nice introduction to the music of the Rolling Stones. That said, I'm not big into covers by anyone. I feel there's something a little special knowing that songs were originally produced by the artist performing them. In my

Quotesf37 Quotejahisnotdead Well, I for one, really look forward to James Bond's new album. There should be a few ballads, a few bangers, and world music galore. I hear there's going to be a killer slide whistle solo. Funny you should mention in jest Bond music, as I actually have a vast collection of not only all the Bond theme songs, but also the secondary songs and numerous rejecte

I'd put it at 50% chance for Paul guesting, and probably 90% chance or better for Dua Lipa. I don't think someone would take pictures of picks and a mixing board for a casual visit. In my view it certainly implies that she was recording. Paul probably would drop by for a visit. Stevie Wonder, I just don't know. If he was in town for Elton John too, then maybe it was just for a frie

I think having a producer who is also a musician is a good thing. I don't mind a contemporary sensibility. If they want any hit songs, having someone with a current track record seems smart. If he can work with Morrissey, surely he can work with Mick and Keith! I'm excited for this new album and look forward to any new news about it.

I'm always wondering where they are in the process. Surely they've settled on a title and album cover art. Do they have some sort of ceremonial handoff where the record company marketing department officially gets to brainstorm some big ideas? Are they going to make music videos, and what is the schedule for that? When could we realistically get the first single or the announcement of t

I wonder about the status of the album all the time. Do they already have the title picked out, or the album cover? When do the new merchandise designers get to make variations for the tour, their plans for collectable vinyl, ect. I'm so curious, and I hope we'll know more sooner rather than later.
