Finally! Heartbreaker!!! I hope, they rehearsed it well enough. I sometimes have the feeling they don't invest enought time into getting comfortable with the "rare" songs, so that they don't sound really tight or even very rough.

I'm listening to it repeatedly right now, too. I like the groove and that there are many talented people assembled from all over the world with different instruments, playing in a so naturally, unobtrusive sounding and looking way - and among them Keith Richards. He can still sing his song and his vocals sound really pleasant. I could maybe have done without the cliche pirate laugh. I also a

QuoteChenL96 Hey! I'm thinking of of getting these Lucky Dip tickets, but there are some things I'm not quite sure of, so I'm hoping some of you might be able to help: First of all I do not own a credit card, I'm only 17 I'm not even able to have one at my age. I have asked my father to buy those tickets for me, is there any chance it will work out? I mean, he's re

That's a price I would be willing to pay. I hoped for these lucky dip tickets. But I didn't know, one needs a credit card for these and I don't possess one! It doesn't even help to ask someone, who has one, because it's a not transferable ticket. Why can't you just remit money from a Giro account?

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteBostonLass Vogue's tribute to the elegant designer L'Wren Scott. Thanks...I realized in watching I'd never actually heard her voice. Very passionate about her art. Wow, that's the first time I've heared her talk, too. And also the first time I've seen a real video of her at all, besides from short ones in the news, where she posed

Quotegotdablouse @gimmelittledrink - There is a thread dedicated to that (former) member, may I suggest you use it? Quoterollingon Quotegotdablouse And when was it that she last left Mustique, in March or in January ? In March. Thanks. Any memories of that tweet from January where she seemed to be saying she'd soon be in Paris? I remember this tweet and that it was posted on iorr. B

About the question, why L'Wren Scott wasn't with Mick during the Paris rehearsals and this tour. Known facts are: She prepared for showing her collection at the London Fashion Week on February 16. She then cancelled her show around February 10. As the reason for cancelling she gave delays in production, because of which her creations couldn't be finished in time. Her new pronoun

Quoteryanpow That was a nice article by her friend in the NY times. It does give us some insight and some closure. I also found that article interesting, since I did almost know nothing about L'Wren Scott besides her being Mick Jagger's girlfriend. It gave some insight into her personality and helped to give my superficial impression of her, which I got from photos, her tweets and one

I was truely in shock, when I just read this and still am kind of. One doesn't visit IORR for one day and returns very late in the evening for a short look to find this - and directly after I had found the good news of more announced concerts in Europe elsewhere! Really horrible! How Mick must feel now in the middle of this tour that was going so well with performances so promising and which

QuoteIrix QuoteMilan This was the reason for the Twitter message: "If you're watching the live broadcast of #StonesSingapore in Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza be there at 8pm - who knows who you'll meet..." Nice of them to visit the "second audience" before. Charlie so typically looks like he would rather be somewhere else there in the background and can'

I'm looking forward to a video of Live with Me, which I voted for! A blues like Love in Vain would have been nice in this smaller venue. But, alas, I love the song and since love is in vain...

QuoteAquamarine Quotemaradona QuoteAquamarine Seriously? Germany has banned those songs? Of course not. But the Stones have forbidden Merkel's party to use "Angie" for her events instead I guess I don't get it, then. (Except the Angie part!) I'm slow on the uptake, sometimes. I understand it like Papo feels, he wouldn't miss the mentioned songs, if they did

QuoteStonesfan2146 So down to 18 songs now, but we can forgive them because of this perfect set >< I suppose, this makes it only an almost perfect list now. Really, playing all these "unusual" songs suddenly altogether must have been too exhausting for them to add another of their rehearsed songs .

It's a shame, isn't it? If the most interesting set list so far would just be the result of censorship instead of a band decision? And they are not even really rare songs. But people get excited (me too) like about a glass of water after a walk through the desert. That said, I think the desert can also be beautiful. But it's refreshing to see some unexpected green here and there, o

This set list looks more interesting. Seemingly they are not allowed to play Honky Tonk Women (Twitter). Is the banning the only reason for a variation of the set list?

Quotedcba Compare the very good version of MR from Tokyo III with the tentative ST from March 4th and toy might get an explanation why the setlists are conservative. Jagger wants to deliver a STRONG and plaudits-worth performance. Going out of the beaten paths with unsual songs (like ST) means a risk of going off the rails onstage. That's sth Mick prefers to avoid, hence the choice to p

Quotemaumau wow that gs smokes Yes, it was one of their better recent performances. Good energy. I liked Lisa's singing and think, Ronnie played something new? Or is he just louder than usually? I suppose Gimme Shelter (video on p. 9) has no place in Silver Train Wonderland right now.

QuoteDandelionPowderman I suspect that Mick won't sing ST again. He sounds completely unrehearsed. That's very surprising... We hear the potential, but only fragments of the melody. The guitar players, with their two slides-setup, could have done a lot of good stuff with this one, but they're not there yet, imo. Only one solution: To try it again. But Mick, seriously
