just because its the bands 50th anniversary it dosent mean they lasted 50 years. i think most would see their functioning years as starting in 1962 with the first gig and finishing in 2011 with the recording of the extended version of some girls. so about 48 and a half years is the period they lasted. i think the stones are probably finished.
