I'd say the Stones' greatest achievement was the run of singles from 64-69, NOT the Big4 classic albums everyone obsesses over. Those 45's are the reason they can charge £400 a ticket. Oh And their rebel stance. Haha.

Hello. Some people have recently posted their music on here and not been expelled from IORR land for their crimes, so i'm gonna give it a shot. This song is written from the heart, with best wishes to the Rolling Stones, for their upcoming shows. I won't be there due to economics, but i really hope they go well, and that Keith, especially, doesn't disappoint anyone. Thank

To the 3 posters directly above this; you seem to be taking a very strange masochistic pleasure in being used and abused by your favourite band to line their own deep pockets. I wonder if you have tickets for the upcoming shows? Please come back and let us know whether it was value for money..

Quoteelectricmud Crap band, always been. Just posing and attitude, nothing to add musically. They fit perfectly with KISS. Saw them in 1984 on a festival with ACDC, Van Halen, Ozzy , Gary Moore and others. What a poor band they were comparing to the other ones. Tom Donington Monsters of Rock uk? Amazing day I was there!

Having thought about this for a while I'm gonna say its the clothes and guitars used on the steel wheels/urban jungle tour. Whilst at first this may seem a trivial point the fact they looked so awful and had obviously got the stylists in and actually listened to these idiots instead of trusting their own style show the band had truly lost its way. The album steel wheels is probably their wor

QuoteNaturalust How did Keith's apples fall so far from the tree of his musical tastes? I can see the Little Walter and Otis Redding connection but the rest seem pretty far from what I would have guessed. Where is Muddy Waters in the list? peace This is the first time I've heard Keith saying he likes anything remotely current..(recorded in '86)

QuoteTeddyB1018 The big change in the sound is the first use of a click track, necessary for the sequencing. Before this, Charlie and Keith laid down the beat with their push and pull, with BW holding them loosely together. That was the sound of the Stones. When Charlie had to start playing to a click, that was gone. That's why the guitars don't drive it ahymore. That's the bi
