Here in Canada I usually buy my salty liquorice in the bulk candy section at IKEA stores.

Quotematxil Quote24FPS Is it here, yet! I've been gone a few days. Is it the best since Exile? Did Bill come back? Does Mick T. guest star? Did Keith & Mick pow wow in Parrot wherever and write songs in each others noses? Yes? Of course! How could you have missed it? My personal rating: 1) "Rough and Tough" -> a nice rocker, Ronnie does a good solo, lyrics a bit silly

Actually I just looked back at the review I posted on this site and it seems that I expected Taylor to be there but still enjoyed the show even though he wasn't. Yes bleedingman, Blige was horrible for Shelter but I enjoyed the rest of the show very much.

I was at that gig and it was generally expected that he wouldn't be there from what I remember.

I used to live in Barcelona for four years and did the BTB and Licks tours there. Would love to go back for another Stones concert one day. Have fun!

One of their songs came on while I was listening to some Apple Music rock charts playlist yesterday. At first I thought it must be Led Zep but I was wondering why they would be in the charts. I've never been a Led Zep fan but took a mental note to look up ad listen to some more Greta Van Fleet.

Quotepotus43 Webster Hall in NYC he was lecturing. Basically asked people to beat on people if they did not have their pov. Horrible to do that In Montreal he told people that the only way to counter hate is love.

Went to see them in Montreal yesterday. Really good musicians and very varied setlist. Some of my videos: Truganini The Dead Heart Feeding Frenzy & Forgotten Years

QuoteDandelionPowderman Ronnie only said that he sometimes won't pick up the guitar at home between tours. But he could (and probably does) play elsewhere I seem to remember seeing Ronnie's posts on Instagram where he played the guitar at home. From memory that was recently so I don't think it's true that he never picks up a guitar between tours.

I just listened to all the songs and remixes again. I find some versions (GGAG Seeb) unlistenable and the others are just barely better with the Kevin Parker Remix being my favourite. But these songs will definitely not be staying on any of my playlists - even though as I type this I think again, that Kevin Parker remix is quite catchy. But in the end my opinion is that these songs are not as go

Back in 1997 my university's library first got internet access and I remember the only pages I visited were IORR and Star Trek related pages! I didn't post back in the day but was certainly a regular visitor.

Sorry for my four posts in a row but somehow this got me excited. Just bought tickets to the Montreal show. Haven't listened to Midnight Oil in ages but just a week or two ago one of their songs came on randomly from my library when I arrived home and I actually stayed in my parked car to listen to the end. They were not on the list of bands that I wanted to absolutely see live. I guess this

Didn't scroll far enough on their tour page. They actually come to Montreal in August. Interesting!

Didn't have any idea they were touring. Seeing them live was definitely not on my radar but it is now. Will check out if they come anywhere close to Canada.

No. As long as they take away my water bottle at the entrance I am safe. Apparently.

Best rock singing voice of his generation. Too bad. After seeing him with Audioslave once I was hoping to be able to catch a Soundgarden show one of these days.

My least favourite was probably in Quebec City in 2015. I was about ten rows back from the stage, against the barrier of the catwalk. The stage was so high that visibility and sound were not great. I enjoyed the show though! Oh wait, lucky dips for Brooklyn 2012 and Toronto 2013 were not really any better. High up to the side of the stage. My favourite would probably be Barcelona in 1998 and 2

QuoteVoodooLounge13 UGH OK so.... My musical tastes are well varied and run the spectrum of genres and artists....But some of this Pop stuff is among my collection.... I still love my 80's hair metal bands most - as a genre that is I have all of Xtina's albums I also have all of Selena Gomez's albums, and Shakira's Beiber's last album I own and think is damn good!

QuoteVoodooLounge13 QuoteSomeTorontoGirl QuoteVoodooLounge13 My musical confessions would probably get me booted right off this board, so I fear I must refrain!!! Goodness! You must be responsible for this! Oh God no! Though Celine WAS one of the best shows I've ever seen - admittedly I was dragged to it long long ago by an ex-girlfriend, but she put on one helluva show! I absol

Another confession... even though the first time I listened to the Stones or other music it was from my father's very limited vinyl collection, I never owned or collected any vinyls. Grew up on cassettes in the 80ies, then moved on collecting everything on CD. Even though I consider myself somewhat of an audiophile at one point in the last couple years I just said screw it and started using

I always found it odd that I am not that much into Bruce Springsteen, Led Zeppelin or U2. Now I see that I am not alone! Not that I hate them but they are more like meh to me... well, maybe I hate U2 or at least 90% of their output.

Quotekeefriff99 QuoteHairball Quotestonehearted So, anyway, am I the only one in this thread who thinks that Pearl Jam really sucks? Talk about overrated: Pearl Jam = the Journey of the nineties. The only people listening to that shit are fat, bald forty-somethings at their high school reunions. I don't like the way Eddie Vedder sings...or the way he growls...nothing about his vocals

Yes, I am often thinking about the fact that many "young" rock bands are way older now than the Stones were when I started listening to them. And back then I already though the Stones were super old.

I thought this might be a fun topic. Share your confessions regarding musical knowledge etc that might be strange, embarrassing or just fun. So I start with mine. I consider myself quite knowledgeable when it comes to music and I listen to a lot of various music styles but mostly to rock and obviously the Stones are my favourites. Now I must admit that I have never ever in my whole life, at lea

I don't believe the covering 12 miles during a concert part. To cover that distance I would have to run for two hours straight, no breaks and Mick certainly doesn't run full speed for over two hours.

Six times, and that is nothing compared to all the others on IORR. However in my circle of friends I don't know anyone who has seen a particular band or artist more than a couple of times and whenever it comes up and they hear I have seen the Stones six times they think I must be crazy.
