QuoteNashvilleBlues Josh Freese is rumored to be the new drummer. He cleared his schedule recently. @#$%& hilarious if so. This is what I was telling people was going to happen even before they flew Taylor home. Who else would it be? Hologram Taylor?

And I think Billie Eilish, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles maybe Suga, and others I can't even think of right now can play stadium tours right now. Blackpink stadium tour in August. Karol G now in stadiums. And remember the kids don't have the baggage of cheap tickets. They have always been expensive. It's worth it like a once a year vacation to Disney is. They love Bil

I used to spend like $800 at a time knowing if I am not going I can easily get rid of them. Last year I decided I didn't want to use the Jack White ticket I bought. Market value $6. Now almost everything I look at I can imagine being $6 day of show. In the end got 2 Smashing Pumpkins shows because my friend really wants to go and she will drive. She wanted me to get Matchbox 20 tickets

QuoteMore Hot Rocks QuoteDan QuoteWoz What's the over/under on this tour actually finishing if it even starts? All the shows may not take place on the scheduled dates but I think the insurance companies will do everything possible to see this thru. Its not up to the insurance companies. They have nothing to do with making the tour work. It’s up to the promoter. The insurance company pa

QuoteDGA35 No Vancouver show (yet). Looking at the tour dates, I honestly don't think Aerosmith's final show ever will be in Montreal, of all places. They'll probably stretch it out with more dates next year with a final show perhaps at Fenway Park? Like just about every other farewell tour now ... there won't be an actual farewell show. And the tour won't be over

Tickets are 2 day tickets only, prices are dropping, I bet if anyone wants to go Sunday only it would be super easy / cheap (a lot of Saturday ticket holders won't go back)

QuoteBjorn I´m not a fan? Stones play empty stadiums? No one has ever bought their records? The relationship between the band and the fans don´t exist? It´s just an illusion? No interwievs? No tv - no marketing? No psychology involved at all??? It´s just empty - no relation what so ever? No communication? They don´t love the energy from the audience? Mick doesn´t choose songs that will give him g

QuoteSend It To me QuoteROPENI My 2 cents, to me something is not right with the band, there is no way that a professional outfit like the Stones, had to cancel first the press conference of the tour cause they did not have all the logistics for the tour already set, and now the excuse is that they can't get the stadiums etc. I think that there is probably a health issue with a member and d

QuoteBjorn Yes. Every relationship needs healthy communication. But if you are satisfied with not knowing - good for you. I´m not. Any relationship is completely imaginary on your part and is likely not healthy.

QuoteStoneage They are not going to tour because of "too much activity this fall"? What does that mean? It likely means the venues they want are not available. If that's indeed the reason. There are more stadium tours than ever on top of sporting events, etc. Unfortunately the Stones have shifted to a few months lead time while the industry itself has shifted to a year.

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack Sidenote, curious if this could mean an ac dc tour, since they are known to share crew and the original plans could be perfect to do a stones tour and then ac dc tour. But now it would overlap? AC/DC touring has nothing to do with whether or not the Stones tour. Bands don't "share crew" so much as it's a small group of professionals and that'

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack I had heard about the ridgedale thing but felt it was not up to me to bring it up. But now when bv mentions it i think it can be discussed. Anyone have more info about this gig? Seemed so weird and atypical in the tour schedule i saw. I think it was to be some sort of tie-in event with the country tribute album or something that wouldn't be a standard Stones gig.

QuoteTurning To Gold OK, so maybe it's not what I thought. Seems like they did do some outdoor night shows during 1970, 1972 and 1976. I thought maybe it was a conscious decision or something. Interesting! The lighting wasn't quite what it was today and a LOT of outdoor shows took place in the daytime. Not really a conscious decision to not play in the dark but more the way the indust

Quote24FPS QuoteStonedRambler The announcement is legendary by now. I couldn't imagine a Rolling Stones concert without it anymore. It's kind of embarrassing at this point. The band chunking out the hits over and over for mucho dinero is long removed from the dark, dangerous, super energized band that first earned the moniker on stage in 1969. Maybe it's your perception that h

Quotemr_c_ox QuoteMadMax They got a shit manager telling them to play European arenas during july 2007. Only Stones can get away with that during the Summer holidays. Quotesnorton The Who just can't pack an outdoor arena like the Stones, indoor of about 30k is their typical venue? They did a few stadium shows in 2019 but the last tour none of the shows were full it seems and a lot of shows were heavily discounted, I got a lower level (back) for MSG out of the box office for $67.50 in May and that show was maybe 90% full when they used to do multiple nig

QuoteNashvilleBlues Quotebobo QuoteDan Now that I am single I don't have to pretend to like this band anymore. Good one. Extremely overrated band. Boring. Unless you’ve seen them live, reserve judgment. I saw them once (prior to Taylor Hawkins Tribute). In 1995, they were on a 3 band bill with Mike Watt and Hovercraft. I think I would rank them third out of the bands who played that
