In 2002 my wife and I were having drinks at Stones Place in Toronto. Bernard swept in straight to a VIP spot in back but later came out to sing with the band. Very cool. The night before the 2015 Pittsburgh show my sons and I ran into Bernard having a light dinner at an outdoor bistro in the tourist section. We made quick small talk but he seemed grumpy and distracted.

Bob is in excellent shape for this tour. Convalescing from his injury and surgery apparently required him to put in some serious gym time. His voice fails him occasionally but the band makes up for it. Like the Stones he has a deep catalog but,like the Stones, he plays mostly warhorses. The set is more the same than it isn't since 2006. Especially the second half.

Cleveland '78 was the worst show the Stones ever did. Everything about the day,the crowd, the openers (Kansas?
