Quotenocomment Quotetreaclefingers You seem a nasty person(s) we not seeing straight we are so furious with jagger. so hurt. we feel baited and switched. we feel mick not doing shows now, like everybody but him in superheavy wants, is lethal for the group. looks like years of effort from especially dave is being ripped off to sell dallas 78 and rolling stones skis. a precious moment in

do I misunderstand something? Does "I doubt that we do a tour" not mean that he doubts that there will be a tour?

Quoteab As much I'd like to believe otherwise, the Stones probably haven't been Keef's band since the Sticky Fingers sessions. That was the first time we had song credits indicating no guitar parts from The Human Riff. Hell, he didn't even appear on Moonlight Mile. Very sad. Jagger started to take things over when Keef got junksick, Keef never fully regained his former r

Maybe Mick does not dislike Bobby, but Bobby seems to really dislike Mick. Keith seems to collect people around him who don´t like Mick, like Bobby or Jane Rose (who imo even hates Mick), but who worship Keith ;-) Will be interesting when Bobby´s book comes out, how anti-Mick it will be...

QuoteJumpinJeppeFlash Well, this concerns a lot more than buying the records and DVDs/Blu-rays, he doesn´t owe me anything but he never cared about the fans, just the money. But you know to little about him to understand that and i´m not an emotional retard idiot. what exactly do you mean? How should he "care better" about fans?

Quotestonesrule "least sentimental..." Did Spitz take a poll of fellow rock stars? I love to read and there are numerous writers who know music that I admire -- Jon Pareles, Stanley Booth, Nik Cohn, the late Lester Bangs etc. etc. I have a great local library and wouldn't you know they'd just gotten a copy of the Spitz book when I was there yesterday afternoon to return

In one interview Mick says that he does not know if Keith has heard it and what music he listens to, and in this one he says Keith likes it because he likes Damian?

No discussion about the "not everyone sees the big picture"? He clearly means Keith here. And the other things he said about recollections tell me that they probably don´t laugh about all that.

If we believe Marianne´s story, Keith had a night with her before Mick and Marianne were together, but Keith knew very well, that Mick was in love with her, because he told that to her after this night. Is that not a betrayal of a friend?

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotekleermaker QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotestones78 Quotekleermaker Then they got Taylor, knowing very well how good and melodic he was. Big problem for Keith, but not so much for Jagger. So we see a very short list with excellent Taylor contributions on studio albums, mainly in cooperation with Jagger. On stage Keith couldn't prevent Taylor from playing, though he

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotekleermaker QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteAmsterdamned Keith wanted to sound like Taylor, so he played his part. <Kleermaker> What a load of bollocks. <Mathijs> Well, Richards stated "I learned a lot from Mick Taylor". Maybe Keith got inspired on "Short and Curlies", as his playing sounds "Tayloreske" That's a posit

As far as MIck and Anita, I don't think Keith had the balls to confront Mick while it was going on but he spews about it all decades later!! Plus, he still loved Anita and to cause a fuss at that time, he would have risked losing both Mick and Anita. Still, it is a funny/odd situa

Keith often says the he wrote the song also when he had little or nothing to do with the lyrics. Like for example "Beast of burden", they both, also Mick, say, that this is Keith´s song, but there are quotes by Mick about how he wrote the lyrics. I don´t think that there is a quote by one of them saying that Keith wrote all the lyrics to "Gimmie Shelter". Doesn´t Keith say in

maybe it´s Keith´s way of making an end, or of telling Mick that he does not want anymore. If it is the end, he can blame it all on Mick.

QuoteHerMajestyBrenda About the fact that Keith conforms to the image, he says so himself in a recent interview, according to a journalist for the Telegraph: "But there was an off guard moment during our long nights in LA, after a video and a photo shoot focussed on his skull rings and snakes head cane, when the hullabaloo had died down, and he whispered something totally unexpected. “I

It didn't change because Keith wrote a book. it's called human nature, i believe. you instinctively want to like ppl who produce work you admire. i'm sure there are many of us here who just can't

QuoteHis Majesty [How about Mick being violent to Marianne one time after a gig? I would not call that violent, I don´t think Marianne does that either. He held her against a wall after a concert. Marianne does not know why and she believes Mick can´t even remember because he seemed under some sort of influence. Sure, he should not have done that, but I think it is not comparable with hitt
