We saw it in Graz, Austria, the sound was a bit low at the beginning but during IORR one guy went out ad when he came back the sound was cranked up. Ronnie was great and we liked Charlie's humour. We liked the Exile songs in the beginning and at the end.

My father had a cassette with one side Beggars Banquet, the other side Emotional Rescue, I knew the 60's songs with Rolled Gold and Hot Rocks, but this cassette made me a real fan, I couldn't believe a band can make so different great music in about 10 years, I loved Beggars but I was always eager to listen to Emotional too and I couldn't decide which i loved more.

1995.08.05 Prague Then they would play in Budapest on 08.08, and there were borders in Europe, so the Czech customs officer asked us why we would see them in Prague when they were playing in Budapest, the good old days when even the customs officer knew where they were playing

QuotePowerage5 My only real gripe about the setlist is I don't see why CYHMK and Midnight Rambler both had to be played. Assuming they're still playing CYHMK in around 11 minutes and Rambler in 13-14 mins, those two songs took up nearly a quarter of the show. Now, I love Rambler and it's probably my favorite of the staples they play at every show, but I don't see why not drop

QuoteNikkei One of the best things about Glastonbury is that it was a live feed and in consequence hasn't been doctored in any way. The BBC people did an awesome job at filming and the excitement is palpable. None of that can be said about Sweet Summer Sun. Yes, you can feel whats happening on stage and in the audience, that's why i love it, Sweet Summer Sun is somehow distant altho

Quoteflacnvinyl Best of luck in reaching out to him. As a fellow producer I have to remind you how difficult the job is. He may prefer longer cuts and slower pans but if Mick wants everything to be high energy, the editor has to deliver. I disagreed with almost every review of Sweet Summer Sun. Completely honest.. I think the film is terrible. Charlie is inconsistent, Keith is not on his A gam

Jerry Marotta Manu Katché Well I guess nobody listens Peter Gabriel on this board. And I like Ralph Molina of Crazy Horse, as Neil Young said, they are not the best musicians of the world but when we play together some magic happens, isn't it familiar?

I was at Pinkpop and Vienna, both were really good but Pinkpop will remain always in my heart, we drove 12 hours from Hungary in a heat, we saw 2 burning cars on our way in Germany, never seen anything like that. And when they started with Jumping Jack Flash, that was the loudest, clearest sound I ever heard at a concert, Keith's telecaster was ripping my head off and it was fantastic, afte

Quotedcba Quotekishorcsog Never heard Arc "Arc is a composition of feedback, guitar noise, and vocal fragments that was realized from various shows on the 1991 tour" A typical NY project... Thanks, I heard about Arc but never listened to it, I like melody and rhythm when listening to music

Quotedcba Quotekishorcsog I would add Weld, one of the best live albums of all time The video is better. Neil looks amazing in this one... And I have a soft spot for the "Arc" cd. "Elevator music for psychos" >< Yeah, the video is fantastic, showing people having a good time and singalong. And Crime in the city, what a a guitar sound: Never heard Arc

Quotedmay The Horse is the best garage/grunge band in the world when playing behind Neil. There's no rock/rock'n'roll sound like them with Neil wailing away on lead guitar. It's a whole other world to get lost in. Not to say they haven't played sloppily at times behind Neil, but for the most part, the Horse and Neil get locked into a groove and, like with most things Neil

And I do like classic rock. I will see Neil Young with Crazy Horse in July, I hope they will have the intensity the Stones have. Your Hungarian is perfect it seems and your knowledge of Hungarian rock music is better than mine I think I also pray for Hobo to be the opening act with Deak Bill of course, it would be fantastic if they played the Kopaszkutya soundtrack live.
