Not at all overrated. Rather the opposite is true. The sex-appeal and energy of their music is unparalleled. They are cool and intelligent people, who together are more than just a band. It is very eigthees. All the rockers on Steel Wheels are, sound dated, I prefer the two wonderful ballads from the album plus maybe Continental Drift, my relationship to the rockers is reserved. And lyricswise, they (or simply Mick in this case) wrote better political songs than this one, too.
