Quotetreaclefingers That is one ugly story. Yikes. Obviously I'd agree; but the key-words in this story mostly are "(…) she claims (…) she says (…) she writes (…) in her new bombshell tell-all ‘High on Arrival’.” And, besides that, "...New York night in the late 1970s..." has some tell-tale value as well, imo.

QuoteHairball The natives are getting restless...again... 18 years and counting.... …More like the select circle of IORR ‘demi-gods’ proclaiming from the top of their Mount Olympus what the topics of discussion should be and what opinions people ought to have. It’d be hilarious if it hadn’t become so boring and tedious… After something like 20 years over here I finally realised, to the fu

QuoteIrix Quotedeeeskannnie But since I'm nót hàving nor raising (and I surely hope: not causing either) a 'problem' here, just putting a simple question about different scenarios & possibilities, purely (a.o.) for the sake of pragmatism and curiosity, there's not much I can do with that suggestion Irix. A simple answer to your simple question would be: the new albu

Great story as well was in de JL Lewis bio, about him driving stone-cold drunk, high and armed towards Graceland, where he crashed the gate I believe and violently demanded to "speak to Elvis immediately" while firing his gun in the air several times... or something along those lines.

QuoteIrix Quotedeeeskannnie In other words: could/would no tour in July/August mean no album in June? Even if there's no new album in June - maybe patience could help. It's almost 18 years since ABB and if the new album is really great then it's worth the additional wait. ...it most surely could “help” if I (or anybody else) would have a “problem” with it. But since I&

QuoteRocky Dijon QuoteTaylor1 It seems with any song where Keith is not the primary creator you don’t have good things to say about it Clearly you've never seen Bard go on about how much he loves "Too Much Blood." It's the one time I question why I still send him Christmas cards.

QuoteSpud I like 'em sloppy too ...but I draw the line at being as hopelessly out of tune as they were in Hyde Park. Yes, there were reasons and excuses...but it's painful ! Fair enough (thàt one, Hyde Park, was painful indeed, btw ) But, for the record: I was talking about the thread topic - the Rock'n'Roll Circus performance (I don't get where the HP reference is

I never understood the resentment towards their preformance then. Agreed it's a bit sloppy, and in no way as brilliant as their US Tour the following year; but I DO like 'em sloppy... For me, it's hard nót to love the RnR Circus versions of JJF ànd Sympathy (despite the 'overacting'...); and on top of that: rare live versions of Parachute Woman, No Expectations and

He is singing in French; mostly in the Brussels 'patois' version... Not sure (don't think so) whether he adds Flemish to his lyrics. Due to his Congolese roots, it's possible that he infuses them with some Affrican words or pronounciation though. I'm familiar with Stromae; not a big fan - though I aknowledge & respect his profound artisticity. "Belgian B
