Is there a queue for LDs like when trying to purchase regular tickets? Like when you click the LD link on the site do you have to wait for 1000+ people in line to get their tickets before you get your turn, or does the link take you straight to a checkout page?

Quotesyrel QuoteHotStuff92 The announcement didn’t say anything about Lucky Dips, does that info usually come after the initial announcement? Or are they just going to quietly put up the link during the general sale without saying anything about them? They are never announced; they just appear on the RS site when the general sale starts (not the presale). syrel Thanks for the info! Haven’t

How easy has it been to acquire Lucky Dips these last few tours? I only tried them in 2013 and my Dips weren't exactly Lucky, so I never got them since. Seeing as it's rumored that arenas are on the table for this tour, I have concerns of much higher ticket prices, at least for those particular shows. And it could be worse if they adopt the same dynamic pricing strategy that a few other

QuoteTopi Posted on Shidoobee FB: "Just heard on classic vinyl station on sirius radio that the Stones are rumored to be extending their 60th anniversary tour into 2023. More fuel for the fire. .." So if this comes from a reliable source, what do we think this means exactly? Extending the Sixty Tour with more shows in Europe, or more likely bringing the 60th Anniversary tour to

Quotebitusa2012 And yet chart success, sales, or lack of them, don’t stop Dylan, Springsteen, Neil Young and other older acts from CREATING something and getting it out. It’s honestly embarrassing not that The Stones, the world Greatest Rock and Roll band for 60 years, can’t, and haven’t. Dylan, Springsteen, and Young are also solo artists, and therefore have a very different dynamic than a ban

QuoteGerardHennessy Well, I certainly am NOT one of those who think The Stones have done nothing good, album-wise, since Tattoo You. While some albums have not been as good as others, every one of them has had at least 2-3 good tracks that I go back to again and again. And a number have been way better than that. I really like Blue & Lonesome, A Bigger Bang and Bridges to Babylon. Steel Wheel

I can't understand the need to be so overly critical of a 60-year old band of 80-year old men not being as productive as they once were. They were at a respectable retirement age when they released (and toured behind) A Bigger Bang, and yet they still continue to at least tour and put out a very occasional single every once in awhile. They don't owe anyone anything, and if they are more

One doesn't have to be a stalker to pick up on certain patterns from one of the board's more frequent visitors. More often than not, when I see a pessimistic and petty complaint it generally tends to be from you. I admit I may have falsely attributed a few other posters' complaints and grievances to you, and if that is the case I apologize. Regardless, I feel I've made my p

Ultimately, I think the only way the Stones cancel anything is if local governments impose lockdowns/restrictions/capacity limits, or if someone with fairly close proximity to the band tests positive for Covid. Too much money is at stake and has already switched hands between multiple parties. All signs point to this fall being the only opportunity to fulfill the US tour, so another postponeme

QuoteGlimmerGirl24 All four signed contracts that include the clause if Ronnie or Charlie are unable to perform, they will be replaced. The current contract also prohibits them from performing - not even a solo one off gig until this tour is completed. Yes, they could refuse to tour and spend years in litigation or settle quickly, either way no one is going to be eager to offer them contracts i

Since these hints were posted here in this thread thread, I hope they actually relate to the tour (whether it be for this year or next year). I hope they're not just hinting at the Tattoo You re-release.

QuoteNilsHolgersson Funny how the "unvaccinated" are to blame for everything. Just like the government likes to see division amongst the people. Takes the blame away from them and their mismanagement of healthcare. Literally who else is there to blame for the continued spread of this virus than the ones who are choosing to refuse a safe, free, and effective means of protecting oneself

If they don't tour this year, what are their plans going to be for next year (if all the rumors are to be believed)? Rumors say that they are planning to reschedule last year's tour and have already booked the venues, while also trying to book venues in Europe for a potential 60th anniversary tour next year. If they can't tour this year, is it likely that the 2020 tour will be s

Are there any rumors that they plan on following the same itinerary from last year? So far there have been three potentially leaked or rumored dates to surface, and they seem to suggest that they could. If they follow the same route, and with the same amount of days in between shows, the dates could look something like this: Vancouver 8/24 Minneapolis 8/28* Nashville 9/1 Austin 9/5 Dallas

QuoteTumblinDice76 I wonder if you go to a COVID 19 message board if everyone on there is talking about the Rolling Stones postponed 2020 tour and not Covid. Until the new dates are announced (or leaked, at the very least), there isn't much left to discuss besides Covid - you know, the reason the tour was postponed in the first place. It's still relatively on-topic, considering it cou
