Never heard of Richard Eden, which is hardly any wonder given how pathetic his "article" is. Great journalism. NOT. Best place for him to be is back under the rock he crawled out from to cobble together a few quotes in a desperate failed attempt to make a story out of a non-story.

So pleased they've done Connection again. Between the Buttons is still one of my favourite albums, not least because it takes me back to my youth and early fan days. But dang I also love that pink beanie on Keith! Especially as someone matched it perfectly with his shirt.

Well, Patti eclipsed herself on her second show at the RAH last night. She varied the setlist to great effect and didn't repeat any of the same anecdotes or lines. It was the first time for me to hear her do My Generation - and she broke all her guitar strings in the process. More five-star reviews, this time from the Guardian and the i newspaper, which said she was "still the world&

Here's the setlist: Maybe someone with access might be kind enough to copy these reviews for us all to read. I like the header to the first one - "An inspiring battle-hardened punk at 74".

Last night I saw the fabulous and inimitable Patti Smith at the Royal Albert Hall. The gig was postponed since I can't remember when, but it was my first concert since February 2020. It lived up to expectations and more. Patti is more than ever loved and adored by her audience, who included loads of young people obviously familiar with her songs. It was great that they played I'm Fr

There is no one like Mick Jagger and I doubt there ever will be again. He never ceases to amaze. When I was at school and sent off to attend church every Sunday, I used to spend the entire service gawping at my bookmark, which was a newspaper photo I had of Mick wearing a red military jacket. I can picture it still. All these decades later, if in my sleep I dream of any Stone today, it

Quoteshattered QuoteRockman Kahoosier ... far as i know hes still around but havent seen him post here for some time Thanks Rockee. Yes, he's still around - I chatted with him only earlier today. Like most of the rest of us who are in either the UK, Europe or down under, he's missing the tour. Does anyone think the band will notice our collective absence lol...

On the eve of their first show since Charlie's death (I don't count the private show - not the same), I find my emotions welling up more than ever because it's tomorrow night that it's really going to hit home that Charlie's gone. It'll be hard for everyone - band and crowd. Courage to them all.

Who'd've thought that a President would be reduced to eating pizza on the streets of New York, where the unvaccinated are banned from restaurants?! And now Bolsonaro is in isolation after his health minister tested positive:

I read this sad news in shock and disbelief, remembering how active she had been on this forum only a few short weeks ago. Debbie Tiger/GlimmerGirl24 was a generous soul, always sharing with her fellow fans. RIP and condolences to her family.

I also stopped taking pics at shows quite some years ago after deciding my time was faaaaar better spent focusing 100% on the show instead of trying - and invariably failing - to take any decent shots. The images in my head are always a better memory for me. If I do want to look at photos, there are always plenty of fantastic ones that the good photographers among us generously share after the sh

Well done, sparkly top - am so happy for you! Am guessing you opted for Keith's side, which of course means that I and others who can't be there are relying on you to send Keith lots of xxxxx from the rail

Different strokes for different folks! That's exactly what I don't like about the women's game, as it too often makes for an uninteresting match that can be over and done with in two sets. I much prefer the men's with a potential four or five sets (which is also why I disagree with the equal prize money for men and women in tennis).

I hadn't watched any of the US Open matches but decided last night to watch this one and am so glad I did. I can't remember when I last saw such a thrilling women's tennis match from start to finish, with some amazing play from both players. The two of them were fantastic, though of course I was rooting for my fellow Brit Never mind the tennis, Emma Raducanu seems to have such
