Here's the relevant extract from the article (link below): Longevity is also honoured, though. While the organisers and broadcasters of the event are officially neutral about who wins, Bafta and BBC One – which screens the award ceremony on 14 May – will be hoping, for red-carpet dazzle, that Mick Jagger attends, after receiving a first Bafta TV nomination in best music (fiction) for his

Quoteribbelchips QuoteIrix QuoteHarlem Shuffler I can’t believe that was because of something minor. Why not? Rumors were that the 2023 Tour would be arenas & stadiums combined - maybe they couldn't book the venues as required by the tour schedule / logistics. And they found out two days in prior to the tour-announcement? Not a chance... My two cents is that there are issues

Interview here at around 39:00 minutes with the Telegraph journalist who interviewed Roger at his home. Among other things, he talks about the re-recorded version of Dark Side of the Moon, which Roger played for him.

I also heard a rumour a while back that a June/July tour was set to start in Chicago. Also heard murmurings about Arizona (earlier in the tour) and NYC (later on in the tour). But, as many have already pointed out, things can - and do - sometimes change, so the bottom line is that it's the usual waiting game. Patience, patience!

Here's an article by the public art consultancy involved in the commissioning: Would it be too rude to somehow get the fan input about Mick's face to the sculptor?

Thanks, schillid and Rockman! I agree that the sculptor looks to have captured their movements/stances pretty well, especially Keith. Also agree that there is something about Mick's face that could be improved but can't work out exactly what it is - maybe the top half, as I think the mouth/lips are OK. Even so, I don't think it's bad - he is at least recognizable, which is

Very sad and upsetting news that also brings back the deep sorrow around Charlie's death. I hope they are reunited now.

Well, I plumped this morning for the silver proof 2oz limited edition (550), which sold out in no time. In the interim, they upped the price of the most expensive gold proof one to £12,500. Didn't pay attention to the exact figure, but the price when I first went on the site this morning was under £12,000. Meet the maker:

Makes sense to be careful. Look what happened to Salman Rushdie not that long ago. He ended up losing the sight in one eye and the use of one hand, which is not what you'd call lucky but better than the alternative.

Can't remember where now but recently I saw a video filmed of Mick when he was in the middle of a meal in a restaurant. The two people had obviously walked right up and asked him if they could take it, as he was shown saying "are you ready?" before going into a pose of waving, smiling, saying hi and making a few inane remarks. Then he went back to his half-eaten food. Perhaps he ag

It was soooo refreshing to be at a show with no phones. Then people concentrate on the music and don't distract others from doing that, which is exactly as it should be.

Nice one, ChrisL! I read that Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy and Miranda Richardson were there on the first night. I was also there last night and heard many people after the show saying that it was better than the first night (which got stellar reviews as it was), with one even saying that the two were like day and night. I have only seen Dylan twice before. The first time was terrible, the se
