I, for one, had no idea that the lady who so perfectly graced the first Roxy Music album was Chris Jagger's wife. MODEL APPLICATION Sir, My wife, Kari-Ann, who is Norwegian, has lived in the UK for 74 years but is now being asked to apply to the EU settlement scheme, so to support her application I have uploaded a picture of Roxy Music’s 1972 debut album, Roxy Music, as she is featured

INTERVIEW Melanie Hamrick: my new novel, dating Mick Jagger and being a mum She’s the 36-year-old ballet dancer turned novelist who made headlines when she started dating Mick Jagger, 79. Now they’ve got a six-year-old son. Melanie Hamrick talks about life with a rock legend — and writing this summer’s racies

That show was quite an extravaganza and went on an hour longer than billed. If the likes of Micky Dolenz and John Oates are still performing elsewhere I didn't know it and so was really happy to see them and loved their performances. With James Burton himself and so many friends coming on stage, there were plenty of highlights but the standout one for me was Brian May and Jason Scheff doing

Legendary rock and roll guitarist James Burton, who will be instantly recognisable to Elvis Presley fans around the world, is to make a rare return to London for a special one-night-only concert event. Joining Burton in this special one-off event are Sir Brian May, Van Morrison, Ronnie Wood, Albert Lee, Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, John Oates and Micky Dolenz. Musical Director Leo Green, along with

QuoteKoen Quoteribbelchips the layout could use some fresh paint here and there and it would be nice if we could use avatars, insert YB video's and could use some more emoticons.. Please no avatars, etc. Before you know it, it looks like one of the other Stones forums Agreed 100+ per cent. No need for all that kind of clutter and mess.

Question for anyone who went to the Manchester show. Around what time did he come on stage? I ask because the only info available for the O2 London show is that doors open at 6 p.m., which seems a bit early.

QuoteBig Al QuoteDan Plural but Tina was the only one smart enough to cash in. How much? We will never know because she was also smart enough to move to Switzerland. I've always understood that the move was less financial, but more to do with Europe being where she had her greatest success. Of course, that could be code for financial, I don't know. She certainly went as far as to

Tina was a true legend and by all accounts such a strong and amazing woman. Saw her a couple of times in the 80s and more recently oa a tour where she had Lisa as one of her backing singers. She had some tough times, including the loss of a son by suicide. Queen of rock ‘n’ roll. There’ll be no one else like her. RIP dear Tina.

Stellar show! I was going to start with shout-outs for, say, Joss Stone and Gary Clark Jr, but all the artists merited the same. It felt as if they all put their heart and soul into every song. And Rod Stewart injected some of his inimitable humour into the proceedings. If I heard right, Eric introduced Ronnie as a gatecrasher lol….

Well, I did enjoy this documentary, as apart from anything else I am always a sucker for old footage and there was quite a bit of that that I hadn't seen before. Despite knowing where it was going to end, I was inevitably more and more saddened as the film progressed, but it was great to see Bill speaking so enthusiastically about Brian's musicianship. Bill was billed as the histori

Cannot but agree with you there. As far as I'm concerned, he was the one and only highlight in the recent Coronation Concert here in the UK. There was a short interview with him, too - a lovely guy indeed. Happy birthday, Stevie Winwood!

The UK has produced so many great bands and solo artists. I am therefore baffled as to why someone thought it a good idea not to have UK or Commonwealth artists headlining an event like the Coronation Concert. Makes no sense, unless they were all asked and declined the invitation, which I somehow doubt.

QuoteDalgtor I didn't realize throngs of fans greet them at their hotels like that. Happens without fail in every city. The funny thing is that not many of those behind the outide barricades seem to realize that you can also just walk into the hotel and end up with a much closer view of departing members, though probably no chance of an autograph if that's what you're after. Once
