QuotesanQ I read that there is a US Carnaby Red coming out. Plus in every pop up store around the world they are selling Carnaby Red. So much for limited edition. Are there any real limited editions besides the zoetrope at 10,000 and the Assai Records clear vinyl at 500? I would like to know the numbers on all these records. Carnaby Street store had 700 red vinyls yesterday, which might

The Carnaby Street store had 700 on sale there this morning and it was possible to buy up to three per person. The nearby Paul Smith store had 180 of his edition available and it was also possible to buy up to three. The guys in there said that the total number of copies globally was 2500.

This is sad and shocking news, especially as I had taken his absence to mean that he had been banned for some reason. RIP, Hairball. I hope his family and friends get to see this thread and all the appreciation for his contributions.

Re-the vinyl, what might "highly limited" mean? In effect, it could be anything they choose to make it after orders are placed.

On a slight side note, just heard Billy Connolly in a BBC interview explaining that one of the chapter titles in his new book was a question asked of him by his old friend, Keith Richards. Question: What do Stetsons and haemorrhoids have in common? Answer: Every a**hole eventually gets one

Some would say that hobnobbing with royalty is right up Mick’s street. Brings to mind that little film about him and Princess Margaret in the clever Urban Myths series, which is worth a watch and available on YouTube. Wonder what he’ll be saying in any conversation he might have with Charles - or Camilla, for that matter. And - will he perhaps be accompanied by Melanie?

OMG!!! Another fan friend and I were at the Old Ship Inn sitting at the outside table nearest the Hackney Empire stage door. I nearly died when I looked up to see Mick heading towards us. He walked right by our table and entered the pub!! I went in to buy more drinks at the bar and he was sitting at the window laughing and joking. It was only later that I saw the photo of him in there with J

Does anyone else think that the bearded guy next to Matt Clifford looks like film director Sam Mendes? Especially in the pic without his sunglasses on.

QuoteSpodlumt They have to be the worst dressed lot I've seen in a long time. Jerry Hall looks positively ghoulish, Anjelica Huston looks like a decaying, melted wax figure. Little tub Jade has seen better days, A bunch of no-name "royals," and no Keith, Bill or Mick Taylor. It looks like a positively dreadful evening. No equally tasteful comments to make about the men?

Great pic! Wearing the same outfit as when he read out an excerpt from Melanie’s book, so it was perhaps taken that day as well.

Your time to see them is way overdue, then! Am sure you won't regret going - only that you didn't see them before. They have never disappointed in all the times I've seen them and their show at the O2 was no exception. See this review (minus the photos, which I don't know how to post): The Who review — amazing journey of the oddest couple in rock The O2, London Roger Da

After his performance, Elton was apparently whisked away in a golf buggy to a waiting helicopter and was back home in Windsor (more than 2.5 hours by road) in under 40 minutes!

QuoteRisingStone Watched the tv at home. Elton smashed it for Glastonbury Sunday headlining act. Was reminded how many big tunes he had under his belt. Think I underestimated him. And now I’m regretting not having caught a show on his farewell tour, which came to a relatively close location from where I live only a week ago (Glasgow). That resonates with me 100%. After seeing that his tour set

I am most looking forward to Elton John on Sunday. He totally blew me away when I saw him recently at the O2 London and is now promising a "brand new" show at Glastonbury, along with a number of special guests, who will probably all be relative youngsters - or so I imagine. Sad to say that it will be his last ever show in the UK.
