I listened with Airpods, great song, awesome guitars.
Never had a doubt they could bring it.
Keith and Ronnie's guitars are all Stones with great tone, Mick's voice is very strong.
McLovin' it! Forum: Tell Me
The Stones have a huge catalog of great songs.
These guys know a good song when they create it.
If they're high on the new album it will damned good. Forum: Tell Me
What is mind boggling is how much impact this band made in the rock n' roll world with their "Americana" type music, in an age of psychodelia.
Made Clapton want to quit Cream. Forum: Tell Me
RIP, all my heroes are dying but their legacy lives forever in the great music they leave us.
Just listening to the Brown Album (2nd) yesterday. Forum: Tell Me
QuoteHe actually got Bobby Keys singing backup
And playing those "finger percussion things, LOL"
Bobby was really cooking on the baritone sax in the opener "Something Else" too. Forum: Tell Me
I liked the song the first time I heard it.
It didn't work live but is very good on the studio recording.
Little guitar parts like right after "holding onto her was just impossible"...then the major guitar chord, suspended chord and back to the major chord. Common riff but sounds so good here. Forum: Tell Me
QuoteMy copy contains a hearable Keith Richards.
Yes, and he did a good job on Crosseyed Heart too!
He's still a wonderful rythymn player and acoustic one. Forum: Tell Me
RIP to a great guitar player.
Check out Skynyrd live at Knebworth in the late 70's.
Killer band with three great guitarists and a good front man in Ronnie Van Zant.
Sorry to hear. Forum: Tell Me
That was not his best for sure.
He still plays his "chordy" rhythmn stuff good, like Monkey Man, Midnight Rambler (standard tuning) and the open G stuff. Forum: Tell Me
Quoteactual sound doesn’t quite match what his right hand is doing
All Keith. He "hammers on" part of the JJF riff and doesn't need to pick it with the right hand. Forum: Tell Me
Those guys rock!
Also, I think Keith really dug Malcolm's rhythmn playing.
Great tone their guitar players have, straight up cranked Marshall stacks! Forum: Tell Me
