I love YaYas, as a guitar player I appreciate the tight groove on the songs and the "heavenly" sound of those cranked stacks. The boys were COOKING!

Keith is Keith, I loved it. Keith is a modern day bluesman above all else. Billy Gibbons, the same. No doubt Keith digs ZZ whose music is blues infused, plus they rock!

Cross Eyed Heart is a very good LP IMHO. It grows on me the more I listen.

No reason why they can't carry on after this tour, pending good health (my mouth to God's ears). Finish the new album which I feel will be great! Then see what they want to do next. Maybe tour, maybe a residency like others (Aerosmith, Elton John, etc.), record more solo LP's, it's all good.

Sounds great, the sound in the "off the board" video is wonderful. Is it me or is Keith having some trouble opening some songs? But when he gets going it's really good! Ronnie goes over to get him in the groove.

QuoteIt has been rumoured that this is Wayne Perkins. He does a lot of Stones tunes Good player but his hands look too young.

The boys will put out a great album of originals. Better than ABB. Some golden nuggets on Cross Eyed Heart, more to come, Mick too. They own the formula, just ponder the size of their catalog!

QuoteFor her sake I hope it’s the lady behind Dev with the turquoise pants and not the one in the dress behind Melanie. Funny stuff right there!

QuoteAnother observation from Sunday night: Keith holds his white guitar pick in his mouth on songs where he alternates fingers and pick. Has he been doing this for some time now? (Not a critique) Always on HTW.

Keith did the MR riff on purpose to bust Micks chops because Mick was morphing into another song like he did with You Got To Move the other night, funny stuff! It's not 1998 but he's riffing good!

Aren't they usually corporate executives? Great if the money goes to charities.

OK, that was a really good solo on SFD. Today I would let Ronnie play it and Keith stick to those monstrous chords and rhythm.

The Ampeg stacks from the Ya Yas period were heavenly.

As an aside, I was never a big fan of Keith's live guitar soloing, so how he did on SFD etc. is not of interest to me. I think he did a fine job on the riffs and chord rhythm playing.

Keith nailed Monkey Man! Not the easiest riff but he was spot on. This cat has some fuel left in the tank. Bravo, I knew it and love it!

I think TSMR is a great album, some good nuggets on it. It's an interesting listen for sure.

Did Ronnie play the black Les Paul instead of his Strat? That might make his playing be more prominent and different in this show. Did Keith play his LP Junior at all?

Look at their faces, they love what they do! Mick and Keith, renewed and razor sharp, sweetness.

Not SFM but seems to have a lick that's SFM inspired (the "what can one boy do" part) ?

Keith appears ready to riff the house down with his high powered Twins and Teles. It should be awesome, shock and awe!

No dis to Ronnie, they are just different players, he and MT. MT couldn't weave like Ronnie on B of Burden but he couldn't play the solo on SFM from Ya Yas like MT either. Love 'em both!

Great lead work by Ronnie there but sounds different from MT IMHO.

I too saw them in 1972,incredible. I wish I looked and felt now like I did then, but I'm a better guitarist now!

We'll see but Keith was always the guy comparing himself to the old bluesmen. Winos sounds great.

Quotenot with their rather limited musical skills Is this the Aerosmith drummer? I kid.... Keith and the boys are going to rip the roof off, they're primed and ready.

Ronnie is better at weaving but MT's scorching solos made the music "heavier" and very dramatic.
