He's even more sorely missed on Gimme Shelter on which he kills, and they play that every show. Ronnie does a decent enough job on ADTL but couldn't touch the blistering leads Taylor laid down on Shelter. I feel sorry that Europe was deprived of any CYHMN. Hasn't even been in a fan vote. Shame.

If you want to be up close and can afford to pay, the Diamond package is worth it. Although probably not as intimate as the Tongue Pit in arenas, having been in the tongue pit for a few shows was an amazing experience. I even caught Keith's pick in Chicago.

Wikipedia says this about that show: when the the Rolling Stones performed there on 15 September 1965, the theatre was severely damaged. Fans stormed the stage, and after the band left after a set of only 20 to 25 minutes, fought police, who attempted to control them with rubber truncheons and fire hoses, and destroyed the seating, fire hydrants and other furnishings. 270,000 DM in damage was

Givaways are a hard cover program as oppesed to soft cover sold in the genereal audience, a blanket with the 50th anneversary logo and a bag that these items come in. Modest gifts but the experience of seeing them in the pit is worth it.

Couldn't agree more. They should sort this out ASAP. Surely they have enough info now to made a decision so thousands of people can make their travel plans. Are they seriously waiting for game 5 of the Lakers series on April 30th?

That's like comparing a Lafite to a Mouton. Both amazing but different so why does one have to be better than the other? Silly thread

There's difinitely some slap-back delay on his guitar. His amp must have been cranked because that bell sound seems to my ears to be caused by feedback plus the delay efeect.

At first he thought it was at the Love You Love photo sessions, but I told Walter when that came out which was right when he started working for Andy, and he thought this was a little later (he was at that photoshoot though). He did say that it was when Mick had already met Jerry Hall because Mick was in the other room arguing with the Bianca supporters. The photo was used on the back of one of

Wow, I took a double, then triple take of that photo of Keith with the sculls. The photo is taken at Warhol's factory. My friend and bandmate, Walter Steding, who was Warhol's painting assistant jammed with Keith that same day. We only have one photo from that day and he has never seen the one that was posted in this thread. I just spoke to Walter and the photographer was Chris Makos.
