Request: Tom Waits

Tom Waits is currently touring in the US. If anyone comes across any shows from this tour, and would be willing to post it/them here, I'd be eternally grateful. Actually, any Tom Waits postings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hear! Hear! It would be absolutely terrific to hear one of these Tom Waits shows. It seems very special since he's foregoing California and New York on his tour itinerary. I guess that person in Kentucky must owe him a lot of money after all.... There is supposedly a box set of rarities called "Orphans" in the works. Perhaps he is resurrecting some of these orphans from their crime-ridden Kent laden crib of fags and butts and smoke and ashes.

At the very least he could introduce any of the great songs he did for any of the soundtracks he supported like "Paradise Alley" from 1978 for example.

Charles, if you're interested, I found a site with the setlists for every show on the tour, so far. It's: eyeballkid.blogspot.com. Haven't found any shows to download, yet, but at least we know what he's been playing.

Yeah, that day in Belgium, Not God but Tom Waits was on business. The ticketprices were astronomic. And only 800 tickets were available. Only the high society people of Belgium had access. There was not a seat available for the fans.

I don't think I want to do a trade right now, Elliott. But, I very much appreciate the offer. I might change my mind, though, so I'll keep the possibility in mind. Thanks again.

Thank you Mikeh for the eyeball kid website. I checked it out. Thank you for posting this *terrific* Tom Waits show. I haven't heard it yet but I'm sure it's tasty.
