The 1992/93 American shows
This is a series dedicated to Keith Richards’ shows with The X-pensive Winos in the US, Argentina and Canada in late 1992 and early 1993.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.
Line-up: KR (gtr, voc)/Steve Jordan (dr, bass, bvoc)/Jerome Smith (bass, bvoc)/Ivan Neville (keyb, perc, bvoc)/Waddy Wachtel (gtr, bvoc)/Sarah Dash (voc)/Bobby Keys (sax, perc)/Babi Floyd (bvoc, perc)

For this show we have two different sources. One very muddy (coming from me) and the other hissy (coming from nzb) which I chose. On it there were lots of defaults like short brutal sounds amplifications, gaps and diginoises. I did my best to upgrade them and the final result is better than the muddy version.
On CD n°1 I amplified the sound, equalized the channels (up to +60% to the right channel) and phased them (the right channel was late). I used a slight hiss filter and reworked the transition between the tracks.
On the 2nd CD the problems were different. On several tracks one channel disappeared, so I duplicated the remaining channel (usually I kept the right channel with exception for “Happy” and “Take It So Hard” for which I kept the left channel and for “Yap Yap” on which I had to do a mix of duplicated right and left channels to rebuild the track).
As usual all the infos are coming from Nico Zentgraf's Rolling Stones Complete Works Database: [
