There is no audience recording known to be available for the 10/31/81 Dallas show. These would likely be more of the 1981 soundboard series that has been coming out over the past few years. It will be interesting to see if DAC splices things in from other shows to correct flaws like Empress Valley did with the 1981 Hartford and East Rutherford soundboards. I think most of the 1981 soundboard shows released so far had a flaw or two, or missing songs.

DAC 021 is most probably the same as the old 2LP set under the same title and with the same cover artwork (which I still have!)

Soon to be available to all:

Dallas, 10/31/81: Starts with the latter part of Take the A Train. It is probably missing Waiting on a Friend, unless this song was skipped due to the rainy weather (???). The encore Satisfaction is missing, and only a couple of notes of The Star Spangled Banner are included. Has skips at 2.00 – 2.05 of Little T&A. Sound Quality: EX+ Performance: a great Stones concert

Dallas, 11/1/81: Starts after the opening riff of Under My Thumb. Beast of Burden cuts in the middle. The Star Spangled Banner is missing.
Sound Quality: EX+ The mix slightly favors the bass.
Performance: A great Stones concert.

It will be interesting to see if the DAC versions have the missing songs spliced in from other shows.

DAC/VGP will never use other shows to complete the recording, only audience recordings from the same show. That's at least what they did in the past. Hope they could get hold of some audience recordings to do this this time too. We'll see in a few weeks.

Theywill not find an audience recording of 10/31/81. The 11/1 show is available as an audience recording.

I have heard from a reliable source that DAC 021 is studio outtakes and DAC 022 is a four cd set with Dallas 10/31/'81 and Dallas Nov./1/'81.There are a few tracks with cuts from each concert. They are both supposed to be in great quality. The October 31 show has the bass higher in the mix.
