TOUP = Two Of Us Productions were 2 guys
One of them had the skills to filter instuments etc from a stereo-track and the other one mixed these isolations into DTS 5.1.

You can't. Fake 5.1, yes, real 5.1; no.Quote

I have no doubt they did, but how do you get 5.1 to play on a CD? CD has a very set standard.

I just burned the wav files to a normal CD and it plays on my PC (VLC), no 5.1 set-up, so I cannot determine if there are more than 2 channels.
When I opened one of the wav files in Audacity, it only showed 2 channels.
I read somewhere that it could be possible that the other channels are "hidden" in the wav file and that certain players will recognize the "hidden" 5.1 and will actually give you the 5.1 version.
PS plays just fine on the PC (VLC); no static. On a stand-alone cd-player: only static!
Done but no difference... Will have to play around a little moreQuote

you'll need audacity using ffmpeg to see all channels
download and install the ffmpeg import/Export library
