I guess archive means different things to different people.
Everbody wants something different I guess and that's okay.
For me its the stuff that's not available on bootleg audience or otherwise I consider archival.

maybe so...but if someone asked me for an archival book from a library I'd think of something that has never seen the light of day and old !
if the Stones archival means 2005 then so be it...but i think that is ridiculous and hardly old..!

We must remember one thing: we have new Stones release every two months,
like never before in their (and our) history.

So why worry, everyone's taste would be satisfied. There will be 1970's, 1971's tour gigs, a lot of unreleased studio material etc.

In the past we've been extremely happy to get the official release ev'ry year, two or so. And now we're getting it every two months.

So we listen to the stuff, put a stamp on it, and already waiting for the next one. And all that for very little amount of money. We are very spoiled these days (when i say WE, me included).

Plus we are all Stones fanatics and friends, we have a good time chatting about things, commenting, approving, complaining. One does remaster, one reworks the artwork, we're getting it for free, so why a fuss.

The beauty is in waiting!

to me archived means "put away" or "into storage" No I didn't go to the oxford dictionary. I didn't equate it with "old"
We all would like to see different eras of Stones tours.
My first tour was in 81 and I remember the 78 Tours.
I saw them in 89 and there was a lot of soundboard recordings of those shows and I collected them all. I even got the Toads place show.
All the shows were basically the same set list so once you had one or two you had them all.
I liked the thrill of having something unreleased that you couldnt get off the shelf. I lways looked forward to record shows and finding that unheard gem.
To me these releases are just remixes of stuff I have already.
I can understand if "your tours" are the 72 75 years you would want something like those released.

Maybe not in near future, but we will certainly hear a lot of unreleased material in next few years. I'm sure they won't stop

It will be fun to hear "Back Of My Hand" in perfect soundboard stereo.
But I hope for "I'll Let You Know" completed one day, and not with modern Jagger vocals. Maybe a nice 'Munich Hilton" some day too.

I would consider that archival.
The Stones played an impromptu show by invite only and to my knowledge there is nobody circulating that show.
My last show was Toronto 2005 at the Rogers Centre.
First row and I have a guitar pick as a souvenir.

Still no news about the date of the next release?
