Ok, I have no idea if this is real or what but I think this is kind of cool even if it is The Beach Boys. I think the Stones should do it acoustically some night.

According to wikipedia (taken with a grain of salt) it's probably real. Pretty cool. I always enjoyed the Beach Boys' "Party" album. Although the link above and

this link probably ARE the Beach Boys, as a long time fan, I wish they sounded more LIKE the Beach Boys. Either way though, pretty cool. Thanks for posting Lynd8!

Peace,
Mr DJA

It's his Argentinian band called Friends with Privileges:
- Ramiro Pilo Gómez (1st guitar)
- Fabian "Zorrito" Quintiero (bass)
- Gonzalo Lattes (2nd guitar)
- "Melena" Sanchez (drums)
- Chuky de Ipola (keyboards)
He always invites some other local musicians to join in.
Always great shows and funny moments!

Yep!

Yep and yep!

The other guest singing and playing the keyboards on the right is Charly Garcia, the biggest rock heroe from this lands (unfortunately not in his peak now).

Mark Vidler has just come out with a new batch of mash-ups. I think he's one of the best. Very clever. Here's a couple.

Jake Hooker, writer of "I love rock 'n' roll" has passed away. Rest In Peace.

[m.smh.com.au]

Apparently from the writeup, this was the "Arrows" group and the article seems to say they had a TV show in England titled that as well??

Website: [www.arrowsfan.co.uk]

Surely, some on this website must know of this band, the Arrows.

Erik Faulkner (one of the Bay City Rollers) version of the band I've got to say isn't too bad, the hits they recycled not counting "Saturday Night", I didn't hear them do that one.

The Beachboys had their own original sound (imho) and did a few unique covers. I heard one "Hushabye" which holds up as well.

If you're The Joker then you must obviously dig this Fandango too.

This has been making the rounds on facebook and is apparently well searched at youtube. I just saw it the other week. Apologies if it's already somewhere in the previous 116 pages of this thread... I didn't know how to search for specific videos within...

For non-USA viewers, this is from a TV game show popular in the USA.

Peace,
Mr DJA

That was actually played on my local Classic Rock radio station witin the past week. For all of the "corporate programming" requirements I thought it was really cool to hear a DJ do a long introduction about something that wasn't on the "official playlist" and then share it with his audience.

Thanks for sharing the video... I love the anvil! Interesting to see the banjo picking guitar-style as opposed to finger style.

Peace,
Mr DJA

All I changed in your original post was to take the "s" off of "https" at the beginning of your link. With the "s" we just get the link. Without the "s" the video is displayed.

Peace,
Mr DJA

Was this the same day The Stones played? Becoming a huge fan of this band. The frontman has a "Peter Wolf" look.

WOW. Just checked this out. These guys rock! So good. Reminds me a bit of CCR and Levon Helm. THANKS so much! I'm a believer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!smoking smiley
