Hi John, heard "your record" yesterday after a long while again. I confess, I bought it because of Bill's contributions - he must have got his sidemen for his first two solos from this project. Concerning your town: Is there more than a railway station? A battlefield for example? And if so, what's the connection to the record?

Carlestones10. What a great photo of Porto Alegre. Usually Rio and Sao Paulo get all the attention. Brazil is a very dynamic country.

i grew up in wilmette, illinois, a suburb of chicago. the bahai temple is the only one in north america, last i heard. as children, we called it the "big orange juice squeezer".

ironically, after years of living all over the usa, i now just live a few miles south, a block from the beach.

you can see the chicago skyline in the distance...

Beautiful Places Dunhill, Aren't those first 2 shots part of Cinque Teere? It looks like one of the five villages.

Anyway, when not a prisoner of Los Angeles (everyone knows what LA looks like), my true home town is Paris, France where I have an apartment. I stay there as much as possible. Someday it should be 100%. Here's a video someone made of my neighborhood. It's usually a very active street market (daily except Sunday) but this guy and his girl friend/wife decided to go on a Sunday afternoon when is was slow and dead. It's usually much more charming and lively. You can find Helter sitting at Cafe du Marche (half way through the video) many a day or night having a nice cold half liter of cold, on-tap Belgium beer or a glass (or 2 or 3) of cool French wine watching the pretty babes cruise by.... Ahhh, the simple life...

Helter, a man of simple needs....

I Don't know who these people are that shot this but Rue Cler is pretty famous as a daily (except Sunday) Street Market. Such a charming neighborhood in the most beautiful city in the world. Not a McDonalds or Burger King or Walmart IN SIGHT !!!!

THIS IS MORE LIKE IT (the street action) but the clip is too short and the babe's slept on, uncombed hair bugs me somewhat.

Battlefield, why YES, the first major conflict of the American Civil War, and a second one a bit over a year later....

Helter, Le Cinque Terre are about 80 kilometers east of Boccadasse, but you are right, Boccadasse looks a lot like Vernazza.

Toronto - Stones fans will recognise the usual spots.

This one's for Charmer - I don't know why...

In an effort to combat the effects of climate change, the city has installed a giant waterfront fan so we don't need to use as much air conditioning in the summ... What???
