I started after seeing them at Wembley on the 16th of July 95, it was a very slow start as I was a student. I mainly used to find items for other people at that stage and they would feel sorry for me and give me spare stuff. The first great item I got I had to sell to pay bills (it was about 25% of my annual income to buy at the time) although the buyer recently sold it back to me nearly 20 years later! It's a fully signed Irish 1964 tour programme. Particularly nice because it is signed in the plane pink area around the band photo on the front so the signatures stand out. The programme is also killer rare, I've never had it other than this one (and I see / get a lot of stuff!). Thank you to my great friend who looked after it all those years (you know who you are).

That's very cool!
Was the programme sold back to you at the same price you originally sold it for? smiling smiley
Something tells me it was probably more, but then again possibly less?

Great stuff has increased in value, common stuff has decreased in value. I therefore paid appropriately... (i.e. more).

I like the historic interest value of contracts and some of the papers are actually quite beautiful too. This one is a little controversial as it splits out the member fees. Three earned £20 each while the other two earned £12. No prizes for guessing who was on each amount.

One of my favourite things is handwritten lyrics, here are Ronnie's handwritten lyrics for his 2001 track "Wake Up You Beauty".

Yes, I agree the handwritten lyrics are the most interesting and rare. Many clearly show the ideas and thought process as the composer struggled to find
the perfect words. Many examples differ greatly from the final recording. The
handwritten "working lyrics" can be a spur of the moment idea to somthing
worked on for weeks but all are very personal to the artist.

Contracts and the like are understandably found and saved simply because of
them being filed away as a legal document. Handwritten lyrics were usually
discarded after the recording process. Many of these lyrics are on the back of studio worksheets, hotel stationary and just about everything imaginable! One
can only guess how these came to be saved from destruction - maybe by some
extremely lucky janitor who happened to look in the RCA studios trash can that day.

I also like these handwritten lyrics, which give an insight of development of songs etc.

Here three pages as part of my collection. I won these at Juliens Auction last year ...

Very cool especially being on stationary with the stones logo. Do you have
any idea what year this was written? Probably done while on tour or in studio
due to the access to the stationary - but just a guess. Thanks for posting!

... unfortunately not really an idea when it was written, but I guess somehow in the early 90's ... may be during the time when he released his "Slide on this" solo album ... (but as said only a guess)

Original Ronnie Wood Now Look Lyrics written on Faces office stationary. I love the upside down cover idea at the bottom of the first page. One of my favourite handwritten pieces in my collection. Two full pages, lots of crossing out, different inks, custom stationary... This piece has it all.

I've got a binder filled with old classic rock (early 1970s, mainly Stones and some Cooper) news clippings and tour programs, do they count?

I'm pretty much only into vintage swag. Here's a '73 shirt from the sound crew.
