Matt, are you helping them out on Exhibitionism
with your collection? You have loads of stuff they might use
(as they mention in their box sets).

Gradually setting up my own "museum" space properly, a couple more cabinets to be delivered and a lot more stuff to pull out of storage...

Wow, you might have more than The Stones themselves! Hope you will open a museum of sorts, I would love to visit. Cheers.

Great display Matt. Is the tumbling dice card a instore promo card?

The Red one in the middle is the US sheet music, the one with the dice rolling scene is the UK sheet music.

With such an impressive collection I'm curious which pieces you value most. For me it would always be things like signed guitars but it there a particular piece or two that you cherish more than all the others? Thanks Matt.

Wait until I finish the set up :-) this is just one room... I have a warehouse with 100's of boxes.

In terms of what I value most, it's my tour laminates (especially ones with my picture) so many great memories but worth very little to anyone else...

In terms of value to others some of my best pieces include:

The earliest Rolling Stones contract signed by Brian agreeing a record deal for 6% of the wholesale (Beatles equivalent just fetched $500,000 but was signed by the whole band, an even more collectibke band but it was also German, not as cool as a British one for a British band).

One of the two or three surviving original IBC acetates (the thing that got them the contract mentioned above and their first recording all together).

The earliest known surviving gig poster from March 63, the list goes on....

All three above with be part of Exhibitionism as well as a long list of other treasures. I enjoy sharing my passion, whatever you collect, enjoy it and enjoy sharing it.

Wow again, I'm a big fan of VL myself. That was the first tour I saw more than one gig, every time since then I've seen multiple concerts. Question, is that part of the stage on the far right in the back? I have a pretty nice VW collection going. Just got a couple of ceramic coffee mugs lately.

Frankotero it's a Australian or Kiwi press kit. I can't tell because they are the same on the outside and this one is sealed. I have an open one of each too...

Thanks for the answer. Another question, what is the sign? in the back row that says "start me up and never stop. That looks cool, amongst other things I've never seen.

Thanks so much for sharing Matt.

It is a fantastic collection, and it is no wonder to me that The Rolling Stones want you and the items you have accumulated over the years , to be part of Exhibitionism. smileys with beer

It's a press folder. The eyes are actually round dice... I've only ever seen it the once, the time I found it. Certainly rare vs. the other press packs for this tour.

Holy cow Matt. I hope all this will be at Exhibitionism. Thanks for posting these great pictures. Will you post merchandise pictures from the latest tours also? These were the best merchandise years, I love the artsy graphics. Always been crazy for the voodoo guy and the urban jungle dog and the variety of ways they were illustrated.

Hi again Matt, great stuff!

In the lower right corner of last pic, what is the Greatest 3 box that says The Beatles, Queen and the Rolling Stones...is it some sort of cd box set?

It's a super rare Japanese promo only set of three CD's. It hardly ever comes up for sale and gets crazy money because three sets of collectors are chasing a tiny quantity of copies.
