I don't recall hearing that he played on stage with the Stones in '75.
He played with Ronnie on the Faces tour that began right after the TOTA '75 ended, and a Rolling Stone article said that he had actually joined the group. When Ronnie announced that he was leaving the Faces to join the Stones in '76, Rolling Stone listed Davis as one of the band members.
