They didn´t play WOODstock,Live Aid,Live 8,opening show for the new wembley stadium,
so why opening or closing the olympic games 2012 in London ?
50th anniversary ? They will do something different, letting others do this,
and being in an age an IOC membership is guarenteed is not a good reason,
or can you imagine Keith doing shakehands with Rogge ?
Hm,could imagine to be honest, but I hope they avoid to take part...

Think this article is about the handing over to London at the closure of Beijing.
There's nothing saying that he will open in London.

Yes I can see Keith do a handshake with Rogge as much as I can see him hug Bill and Hillary Clinton. The Stones are prominent enough to do this gig. But that's just my humble opinion!

The stones won't open the olympics cause the organisers won't afford them. After they've over spent the budget by 700% the only things the UK will offer in the opening ceremony is Take That, A Cliff Richard medley and some traditional dancing: Morris Dancing obviously.....

The Stones doing the Olympics? Have you lost your mind?
That's the funniest thing I've read all month!!!! As it is, they'll just be or will have just finished their about to be current tour. What are they gonna do, play JJF really tiredly and call it a night?
