there were quite specific age criteria, if i recall right, and they had to submit photos first.

the thing is these bimbo's may not know anytyhing about the band but I don't think Its much of a stretch that they were having a good time being front row at a stones concert. I don't think they had to act that much.

with sssoul, the age requirement was in place, at first, for the SuperBowl
halftime fans. In my understanding, for the film the pictures were submitted, with most of the older people rejected, or if accepted,
placed away from the front.

thanks for the correction. i remember the Superbowl backing off the age requirement, due to popular outrage,
but evidently i wasn't paying very close attention when the film call came around.
in any case the effect was a silly level of phoney-looking types on camera.

on another note ... i'm still curious who it was who screeched out whatever she screeched during Far Away Eyes.

I was watching the MSG show from the Four Flicks yesterday and realised that in the front rows there were many many "too good-looking" young ladies. Is it the same case as SAL, or are they relal fans?

It's a concert movie, but it's a Hollywood concert movie.
I bought the DVD last night, watched SAL for the first time on my home theatre.

DAMN RIGHT I'd rather see attractive young women (who are SAG so they know what to do/not to do on a movie set) then fat, old, jaded, know-it-all rock-geeks who are one-step away from being "Stones Trekkies" on my DVD thank you very much.

I think the girls in the film are total duds. They look bored, rigid and to be honest not even that hot!!! I've seen tonnes of hot young girls dancing their asses off at Stones shows who I'm sure can follow basic instructions like:

I agree, these bimbos are DUDS! Not even SINGING along with the Stones because they don't KNOW the WORDS!! Dead giveaway...at least during shows with real fans up front, you see everyone singing along and this is so obviously not the case here. This is ridiculous. The fake audience members suck. Big time.

Might as well take it a step further like McCartney does with his live DVD's. Pipe in the sound, fix all the bum notes, film additional footage on an empty soundstage, etc.

It's a DVD, but it's not a live performance.
