You Got The silver for me... Well, I love the 2007 live version - probably not one of his best vocals, but very emotional, it had everything it should have. And the album version is just incredible.

One vote for "The Worst". Such a simple, but deep song and what a performance.

Keith's only good vocal is "You Got the Silver" from Let It Bleed

I just listened to You Got The Silver from SAL. That's a damn fine vocal effort from Keith.

I'm with Elmo. As soon as I saw the thread title, "All About You" was the first thing that came to mind. Beautiful vocal.

I love his Learning the Game from the Austin show. I'll nominate that for best live vocal from Keith.

Anything, as longs as it's not the horrible, terible, vomit invoking "Thru and Thru". A drunken, false-teeth rattling, plain bored to death song...Of the worst album ever released by the Stones, this song is the low point...

Agreed on Thru and thru, but then B2B he came out with the highlight of that album. The last two songs just blew me away - Thief in the Night and How Can I stop.

The vocal effort on You Got the Silver on SAL really surprised me and possibly everyone in the cinema on that night.

And let's not forget his backing vocals on many songs, not least Casino Boogie and, live, Sweet Virginia in the early 70s tours.

Couldn't have said it better myself, awfully horrendous... just puts me to sleep.

Its hard for me to pick a favorite.. but If I may comment on thru and thru: I think it is a great song. It took a while to grow on me but now I think quite highly of it. Especially the live version on Four Flicks. theres such warmth in the lines "any minute any hour, just waiting on a call from you/ you know this heart is constant ..." both in the way in sings it and in the words themselves. and the way the song picks up in the end is very cool.

Well, I've been repeatedly listening to one of those Head, Heart, Balls cds and (the title might be wrong) Baby, Make it Now..... followed by Break it Down (Baby, Break it Down?)

Also love Nearness of You and Almost Hear You Sigh

(sigh....)

If You Need Me deserves an honourable mention in this thread imo.

Aside from the horrible Thru & Thru -I loath his voice on The Worst. The song's allright, but for some reason (well, being drunk and having false teeth) keith prenounces the words as "I sssshaid from the firsssht, I am ze worsht". He sounds like a 90 year old who just put his teeth besides his bed.

My favorite Keith vocals are on How Can I Stop, which to this day remains in my top three of best ever Stones songs.

Best Keith's vocals for me are on the Run Rudolph Run single (a side and flip).

Second best, Before they make me run.

Also worth to mention a very recent great delivery of Slipping Away in Zurich, August 5, 2006.

The absolute worst must be Eileen (the romans used to say nomen omen, but the Worst is only a close second ...)

"Deuce And A Quarter"?
"Wicked As It Seems"?
"You Don't Have To Mean It"?
"Thief in the Night" must be it.
