The First Rolling Stones' Song You've Heard

For me, it is Street Fighting Man when my father bought me Forty Licks. I was 12, I liked it but I really became a fan 3 or 4 years later. I really thanks him for making me discover the RS, he made a great job

Sorry for my english ; I'm a french little boy (but I like it)

I'm sure it wasn't the first, but the first that stuck in my mind was Mixed Emotions.

My guess would be "Angie" - around the time I became a Stones fan in 1973.

Satisfaction here too I think.. it's lethal stuff. Once you hear that one, you're hooked.

Satisfaction probably back in the days; but hooked up for good in 1973,
same song then. Then came Out Of Time. Summer 1975.
Always late.. sad smiley

Without remembering (I was 4): Little Red Rooster / Off the Hook single of my 11-year-elder sister. She claims that I hated LRR because it was slow and loved OtH because it was fast. Well, I still love OtH but my opinion on LRR has gradually changed...

Honky Tonkey Women, summer 1969. Couldn't get into You Can't Always on the flip side. Hell, I was only 10!

Let's Spend The Night Together.

My parents had this one on a cassette titled 'Pop Hits of '67'. As a kid I used sneak in and listen to through earphones on my dads stereo in the living room during Weekends before my parents would wake up.

First record I ever heard was Milestones, so probably Satisfaction. The first song I remember I heard was Under My Thumb.

Aaah Rockman..... LOL.

Come On. My best friend had four older siblings who used to buy all the records that we used to spend all day listening to - and that was one of them. They also used to buy The Rolling Stones fan magazine with photos in it that set me off endlessly drooling at a tender age over Mick and Brian.

Haven't looked back since.

Can't remember well.

But probably, the first thing I listened to closely was an old vinyl single that was my father's. It was Brown Sugar on the A side and Bitch on the B side. Not bad at all!

Still I have that one, and that old mono mix sounds just thunderous!!!

First one was Miss You...was in fifth grade and got Some Girls and was hooked. Thought I was pretty hip because Exile was my second stones record I bought...didn't know any of the songs on it, and got it because it was a double album!
