I did not care for Mick's singing in "As Tears Go By" In the theater is sounded OK, but I have a difficult time listening to it on the CD.

Strange, many votes for connection; IMO very poor singing, very out of tune...

After some days listening to SAL I think disc 1. is fantastic, disc 2. is not bad. The mix is great. The guitar works are astonishing good (Blondie didn't play guitar!?).All in all disc 1. is classic, with a very good setlist.Even Keith's set is great.

Hard to say, but a day like this my answer is:

- All Down The Line
- You Got The Silver

Amazed at how few posts there are for Champagne & A Reefer. It knocks spots off everything else in the film and on the album. My other two favourites would be As Tears Go By and Connection. Just My Imagination would be up there.

Worst by a long chalk is Far Away Eyes. While the bit where they share the mic is a nice moment, Mick's vocal is so passionless it sounds like he's reciting the ingredients from the back of a cornflakes packet.

my rating is based on the movie only, cause i don´t have the official cd soundtrack at all. first i´d like to point out how much i loved the peformances and it´s really hard to decide top3.

well, the biggest surprise was AS TEARS GO BY, which i usually pass whenever it´s possible. how intimate feeling, this alone would make sense buying the dvd!!
CHAMPAIGNE AND REEFER. the interplay between the guitars, mick´s harp, buddy´s vocals, absolutely fantastic.
the third, now it´s getting even more difficult.. after very heavy head scratching i´d say JUMPIN´JF. my god, name any other as rough opener, and here it was a solid start, i´m so jealous for those who could participate beacon shows..

champagne..., live with me , she was hot. I also love theversion of satisfaction. It is a good album.

Bring back the guitar driven versions of Sympathy in the style of Ya Yas.

Champagne and Reefer. One of the best blues moments I've seen on film from modern time. Fantastic.

An other highlight for me was Just My Imagination, and of course You Got The Silver.

There are so many great performed songs on SAL, songs that sounds better than usual. Shattered, She Was Hot, All Down The Line.
