Great. Keith looks very old, though. I hope they get back out on the road soon.

Thanks!

Ronnie's reaction was funny to Charlie's idea of a new album: "OH REALLY?"

And Charlie and his attitude: "Those two guys write, I just play..."

..Another thing: What do you guys (& dolls) say on Keef...
Is Keef zonked out by booze here or is he just a terribly good actor..?
Also Charlie looks properly drunk smiling smiley ...

I don't know. I have given up a long ago an attempt to provide any guesses whether those guys are sober or not... surreal figures they are.

Yeah, your 'menu' sounds accurate, but just to think about: it is not most cleverest to thing go to cinema if you are totally drunk (and I guess we Nordic fellows might to have experiences of that..,). You know, running to the toilet every second minute, needing another drink, even trying to concentrate to the bloody film is beyond one's capacity.. aah forget it... Or did they have a bar or a 'seat service' at the cinema?

Or did the Stones attend the actual film at all (don't they get bored?), or did they just made the red carpet appearence?

Hope they really make a new record! As Keith said: Why not!

Ronnie looked better than he has in a long time .

Keith looked quite tired/wasted.

As for a comparison with Berlin or NYC.

Tired of the transatlantic journey from NYC maybe.

It's all starting to catch up with Keith after all these years...but he's still alive and playing,so that's goodness. If they do a new record I hope they go back to their roots.

They kind of went back to the roots with ABB by cutting down the number of side players. It was quite "meat and potatoes" musically, simple rock´n roll songs. But I agree with you, I hope they go deeper into their blues roots. It would suit their age. Some blues and some acoustic stuff would be nice. I hope Mick writes better lyrics next time.

Yes, bring on the new album. Why not?

Can anyone tell me why we need a new Stones album??? I don't think they would just make a record without touring. Even if they tour they won't play the songs live just look at the Bigger Bang tour. Plus they hardly sell many these days. Just my thoughts.

because its always good to see the stones continue as an active band rather than become a defunct band that havent made an album for years like some other groups.

Because they're not the f*cking Beach Boys, that's why!

The question is: why not ? smiling smiley We'll never get another Exile on main street but it could still be a good record. Everything is just a bonus now... After Bridges I thought who needs more Stones albums...but if they are keen why not. Many oldies bands just play 2-3 new songs so there's no real need to play half the album.

"Can anyone tell me why we need a new Stones album???"

Because this is a Stones Forum or Fan site and the people who partake are supposed to like the stones, so in turn would love a new album.

Hot dog! Let's hope they get back into the studio soon!

I wish they would perform 1 -2 shows to promote the film, live album! Probably won't happen...

I love those news
Charlie seems to decide (with Mick I guess, Keith is following, "why not" and Ron has no choice)

We surely need a new album as I'm waiting for a new Tatoo you version 2009

keith was indeed very drunk, the stones were not in the best mood at the thought of having to do another press event, they left immediately after doing the press and there was no after party. I know this because my friend ran the junket.

Yes, I do want a new album and more Ronnie on the album. I really would like to see what they come up with after ABB. They've got those songs out of their system...that first layer of their creativity. Can they go deeper?
