Nice to see, how much you talk about my choice "Six Blade Knife" smiling smiley I think Ronnie is able to play the song, a little bit stripped down, slow, sliding... The difference between the two character Knopfler/Wood is a good source for a nice version, i guess...

he should do You Sexy Thing for you, and when it gets in the top 10
that will make it a top ten number in four decades in a row, how's that

:-P Thanks, with sssoul.
He's gonna do Bob Dylan's "Something There Is About You",
ahem... not for me though, if Jo asks...

Or he could do Dylan's The Man In Me. Dylan did it during his "head cold" vocal time, so Ronnie's version wouldn't sound so far off.

Well as long as Ronnie and his friends don't record any of the the following, I'll be cool.

1. "Lovin' You" - Minnie Riperton (the la la la la la song)
2. "Feelings" - Albert Morris, Barry Manilow, whomever
3. "Muskrat Love" - Captain and Tennille

I imagine he'll record mostly uptempo rockers/blues. Perhaps a ballad will be thrown in there.

He and his friends will probably glance over the huge list they get and "Oh how about this one" and "Wot about that?
Then when they narrow down the list it'll be a matter of band chemistry and if the band "clicks" with the song.

So I guess this means a late '08 release, perhaps an '09 tour of some sorts and perhaps no Stones tour until 2010 if ever again?
How long after solo projects before the Stones typically get together and tour again?
Think Keef is next for a solo project?
