The teen wanted to crash the plane into a Hannah Montana concert in Lafayette, Louisiana?
I have to admit, that I felt very frustrated about not getting tickets to see the Stones
at the Beacon, or fly to Europe last summer... but my anger only went so far...

But seiously, after Lennon and 9/11 they should throw the book
at this unfortunate guy. Lest the other sick/depressed/crazy/irrational try a
similar cry for help that goes too far. Hopefully he'll get a good lawyer to convince
a jury to let him off lightly.

By the time he gets out of Prison he can then plot to destroy a Beach Boys show, at least there won't be any original members.

Believe it or not, the band that backs Hannah is called the Jonas Brothers and though they are incredibly young they are also VERY talented. They open the show as themselves and then back up Hannah for her show. If they keep it together they will be HUGE. Actually they already are. Anyway, look out for these boys. They're gonna sell MILLIONS of records.

Please excuse my ignorance. But what is a Hannah Montana concert in the 1st place? How can an actress play gigs in character? Is that like Blues Brothers for the teenage market?

I don't know much about this H.M. BS myself, but I do know that the tour is in my town today.
Notice I say today, not tonight. It seems to be an all day affair.
It seems like they have something set up outside the arena, like a "fan experience" type of thing.
The actual concert starts at 4:00pm.

Oh and, BTW, she's playing the same arena that the Stones have yet to visit.
Just thought I would mention that.

Duane in Houston is right, the Jonas Brothers are going to be huge. Sure, it's an all boys act, but 2 of the 3 brothers actually play guitar. They are pretty good.
They are not a song and dance monkey act.

Did some work on one of their shows in August and they kicked ass. After the show, they signed CD's, etc in the lobby for over 2 hours. It was a sold out theater show of at least 1,200. They stayed till everyone who wanted an autograph got one. I think it was a week after the CD was released and was already #5 on Billboard.

At this stage Stones are not much better...

i dont get it... im not much into traveling for Stones shows, i live on the northeast coast USA so i get plenty of opportunities to see them around here (Philly, NYC, Boston, etc)... but I would fly to Nola to see them in a second...

Yeah, it's time to come back here.
They were rumoured on this site to play here the March after Katrina.
That was taken off the schedule just days after the storm.

i think it's sick as well , i never watched hannah montana but kids deserve to have their pop heroes just like anyone else

As a 6th grade teacher, I can say that The Jonas Brothers are HUGE with the 11-12 year old girls. Second coming of the Hansen Brothers?
