That IS cool -- has a kind of modern technicolor thing going on ...something a little weird.

Always looking (but more selling) on ebay, but it's interesting to know what others are looking at.

It has a certain quality a bit like a hand tinted foto of the early twentieth century or like an early American baseball card of the same period up to, say, the 30s maybe.

Thinkin' about buyin' it, Queenie? I can't believe you're not still up now, must have finished your work early.

Looks like Keith just got back from having his teeth whitened (though I presume they didn't do that back then - at least not at prices affordable to them, at that time).

Brian living dangerously, as usual, standing on the outside of the handrail!

Is it really a postcard, and not the kind of "movie-cards" that was popular
around 1960-65. The movie-card were very small, like a matchbox, a swedish one....

On the flip side:

Besides the over-whitening of his teeth...

The size-relationship between Keith and the other boys is really weird. The curve of the stairs and/or the camera lens distortion, I guess.

Plus the over-whitening of his teeth... Keith looks monstrous in that picture!

Keith looks like he has John McCain alligator arms too. Especially his right one. It's such a bad shot of him, he really should sue somebody.

Spoken like a true American!

Here's a link to the ebay item. It says it's a sweatshirt. I thought that BV only had t-shirts printed up, didn't he? If so, then someone stole Schillid's design. That sucks.

Unless I'm mistaken.... I believe that US copyright law states basically that a work is automatically considered copyrighted when it is created, and the creator of the work is the copyright holder. The exception to this is, of course, the dreaded work for hire.

I seem to remember that there were sweatshirts.

Oh good - then case closed! I'm glad.

I never got a tshirt - I didn't realize they were only on sale for a certain amount of time, and I was broke then. Bummer.

Does anyone know if bv sold them all?

.....well then that explains why I never got my IORR teddie

Re: interesting postcard on ebay

Lukester doesn't wear them because they're women's things, he wears them because frankly they're pretty darn comfortable. (please please please tell me you got the Mick Jagger reference here)

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Tom Snyder: Ha! Well, all I know is, I've got a pink woman's housecoat at home, and a pair of fuzzy pink slppers, and heck! I didn't buy them because they're ladies things - I bought them because, dammit, they're comfortable! I don't care if they are ladies garments!
